Casa Pimienta

Casa Pimienta is located in the heart of the Axarquia, a region in Andalusia between Málaga and Granada.
In winter a hiking area and delicious for lunch in the mountains or by the sea with trips to Málaga, Granada, Córdoba, Seville and the mountain villages. In the summer you can also enjoy the sea and the vast beaches and intimate bays.

Due to its location, the Axarquia has a subtropical climate with warm summers and mild winters. The region has an average of 320 days of sunshine per year!

Casa Pimienta is a spacious house where you can stay comfortably with six people.
You can fully enjoy the beautiful views, the private pool and the quiet surroundings. In present-day Andalusia, the Moorish past is visible and palpable, also in Casa Pimienta. The rugs, lamps and tables give the house an oriental look.

Mobile phone calls and internet are no problem at Casa Pimienta. There is a wireless Internet connection for contact with the outside world.

Casa Pimienta has terraces with different views: sea, mountains and valleys. At night, the Milky Way and Orion can be seen, among many other stars.

The garden is decorated with Mediterranean trees, plants and herbs. You will also find many cacti, succulents and agaves.
Special animals live around Casa Pimienta. Every now and then you see a chameleon walking by.

If it gets too hot in the sun, you can always find a place in the shade on the terrace, under one of the large umbrellas or by the olive tree.

A ramp has been made on the terrace side so that the house is accessible to people with disabilities. The carport offers space for two cars. In addition, there is room for a third car.

The surroundings of Casa Pimienta offer many possibilities for excursions: the Alhambra and Granada, Málaga, the caves of Nerja, many wide beaches and cozy bays.
The Axarquia offers plenty of opportunities for beautiful mountain walks and many excursions.

The typical Spanish town of Vélez-Málaga is 8 kilometres away, and the seaside resort of Torre del Mar is 12 kilometres away. Both cities have large supermarkets and cosy shops. In La Viñuela, 4 km away, there is a small supermarket. In many villages and towns in the Axarquia there are weekly markets, where bargain hunters can make their move and where you can buy things from the region.

The region offers numerous dining options. In every village there are restaurants or tapas bars. On the coast it is good to eat fish and of course paella!

Casa Pimienta is located 60 kilometers from Málaga International Airport, about 45 minutes drive, and is easily accessible by car.
