Just 10 minutes from the Costa Tropical and 5 minutes from Motril, this beautiful luxurious and very spacious villa with private swimming pool and breathtaking views of the sea and mountains is located. The Sierra Nevada protects the coastal region against rain and cold and supplies water. The Costa Tropical has a micro climate and the most hours of sunshine in Europe. It rarely rains, especially in the summer. Various subtropical fruits such as mangoes and avocados grow in this area.

The Alhambra in Granada, which belongs to the world heritage, as well as the national park of the Sierra Nevada can be reached in just 45 minutes. Beautiful coastal towns such as Salobreña, Almunecar and Nerja are quickly accessible. Malaga airport is a 5-minute drive away.

The villa is located on a large fully walled plot on a tarmac road and is easily accessible via an electric gate. Several cars can be parked on the plot. In the beautiful multi-level garden you will find various terraces and chill spots. The entire garden is automatically irrigated so that the plants and trees always look beautiful. Various citrus trees, pomegranate, fig, almond trees and countless other subtropical plants and flowers grow there.

Around the pool is a large terrace with outdoor shower that can be closed for the safety of children. This terrace as well as the swimming pool can be illuminated, which creates a lot of atmosphere. You can also enjoy a nightswim and or possibly a drink during a sultry summer evening. Near the house there is also a spacious covered terrace with lounge chairs and a gas barbeque.

The villa is modern, but has many beautiful Andalusian details. The decor is very tasteful. The kitchen is fully equipped and has ample cupboard space. The sitting room has a fireplace, a smart TV with Dutch channels and a soundbar with Bluetooth. The WiFi signal is strong enough for Netflix. There is also a separate sitting/reading area overlooking the front garden with orange trees. There is also a separate toilet with sink. The villa has 3 spacious bedrooms, each with its own toilet, sink and shower and/or bath and all with air conditioning. The master bedroom also has a large terrace balcony with a view of the sea. This is a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast in the morning or a glass of wine under the starry sky in the evening. All bedrooms have sufficient closet space and the windows are equipped with mosquito nets so that you can keep your window open at night.

Villa Sorpresa is within walking distance of the small hamlet of La Garnatilla which is part of the municipality of Motril. Motril is a medium-sized town which, although much smaller than the city of Granada, is the capital of the province of Granada. It is an authentic Spanish town with many boutiques and countless terraces, bars and (tapas) restaurants. Here you will also find several large supermarkets and banks. Motril has a port with ferry services to Morocco and a private beach. It is located on the Costa Tropical and there are many beach restaurants and nightlife, most of which are open all year round.
Large golf courses can be found at Playa Granada near Motril.

The connecting roads in this area are of excellent quality. The western coastal road N340 to the white town of Salobreña, but also Almunecar, La Herradura and Nerja is beautiful. Busy with tourists from all over the world, Nerja is definitely worth one or more visits. It is best known for the Balcony of Europe and the stalactite caves. There are many narrow streets with countless souvenir shops, bars and restaurants. There are good parking options where you can park your car at the center for a very reasonable amount.

The eastern coastal road towards Almeria is a little less known, but this one in particular is increasingly being discovered by tourists because it is precisely here that beautiful bays and snorkeling spots can be found, as well as quiet normal and naturist beaches.

The motorways to Malaga, Almeria and Granada are without toll. Other larger cities such as Seville, Ronda and Cordoba are also more than worth a visit and can be done within a day.

Whether you are sporty, or prefer lazing on the beach, or enjoy good food with a good glass of wine or are more culturally inclined? It doesn't matter because everyone gets their money's worth here.
Andalusia is Spain at its best. The nature is beautiful, especially because of the Moorish influence there is a lot of culture, it has beautiful traditions, the people are very relaxed and friendly, the gastronomy is excellent and the climate is wonderful
