Romantic Cottage in the forrest

This romantic place is ideal to relax and enjoy nature, be it for a weekend or for the whole week. You wake up to the sound of the birds and the squirrels come to the window looking for food. The beautiful surroundings have many cycling and walking routes, through endless forests and heaths, of one of the Netherlands' most beautiful parks, the Sallandse Heuvelrug.

The cottage is not located on a holiday park, but completely private on a large piece of forest land (1350m2) surrounded by trees and rhododendrons. It has a nice spacious appearance and is fully equipped. It is also enjoyable in bad weather. The cottage is well insulated and the wood stove gives off a pleasant warmth. There is underfloor heating throughout the cottage. The covered veranda that connects to the living room is always comfortable, even when the weather is bad.
The kitchen is fully equipped, but also the bathroom with its bath and walk-in shower. There is a washing machine and dryer, as well as the necessary bed linen and kitchen towels.
The bedroom has 2 new box spring beds (2x80cm) and a large wardrobe. There is free wifi in the cottage. You can park your car under the covered carport.

In Holten and the surrounding area there is much to do and especially culinary pleasure with many types of restaurants and entertainment venues. Walking and cycling in the woods and over the extensive heaths of the Sallantse Heuvelrug is an unforgettable experience. There are many walking (including the pieterpad ..) and cycling routes that you can use. If you like golf, you can use several golf courses in the area.
The VVV in Holten has a lot of information about the various options. In the Kultuurhus in Holten there are regular theater performances, cabaret or music performances. Definitely worth consulting the cultural agenda. Of course you can also go to Deventer for an extensive cultural program. That is a 20 minute drive.
