Only an 8-hour drive from Utrecht, at the tip of the beautiful Parc Régional du Morvan, a 243,000 hectare protected natural park in Burgundy. A hilly, wooded landscape with numerous rivers, lakes, small farms, old villages, walking / hiking areas and sights such as castles and Beuvray mountain. And of course the large lakes of the Morvan where you can swim, sail, fish, kayak and more.
Our house is situated in a valley with views of rolling hills and farmlands, with a terrace and a very spacious garden of about 1800m2 with plenty of sun and a number of fruit trees. Feel free to pick a delicious fresh (unsprayed) plum or apple!
Via the adjacent path you can take lovely walks in the beautiful surroundings, it is also good for the (experienced) cyclist. A true walking and cycling paradise!
Ground floor:
Entrance to the nice cozy farmhouse kitchen. Spacious cozy living room with wood stove and adjoining dining room. With lounge sofa, two Papasan chairs in which you can relax in front of the cozy warm wood stove. From the living room and dining room you have a beautiful view of the ornamental garden and the beautiful surroundings.
Upstairs:
Via the spiral staircase in the living room you reach the two spacious bedrooms, with wooden beamed ceilings and through a unique (lowered) passage (with sliding door) you enter the second bedroom which has its own entrance / exit with two-part farm door and outside staircase.
At the front of this typical Morvan house with characteristic natural stone walls, there is a wooden picnic table where you can enjoy the peace and the view in the sun.
