Our beautiful holiday home is within walking distance of the old village of Uzès, and its cities like Nîmes and Avignon are also easily accessible. The house stands on a plot of more than 2000 square meters and has a heated swimming pool, beautiful outdoor furniture, a large lawn and much more. Ideal to look for peace, but just as fun for the kids!
The house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms and can accommodate up to eight visitors. One bathroom is equipped with a WC and wonderful rain shower, the other with a bath. Because of the heated swimming pool, the house is already nice to visit early in the spring until the fall and late summer.
There are beautiful sunbeds available, but there are also two mountain bikes and a table tennis table. For example, there can also be a little fanatic sports. In the vicinity there is a golf course and just a two minute drive away, just before you enter Uzès, a tennis club where a job is possible.
The house always looks perfect thanks to our great gardener and cleaning lady! The pool is very well maintained and the grass is always mowed, which completes the appearance of the house.
There is a washing machine in the house, you can dream in the wonderful French sun. In the kitchen, everything is needed and outside is wood for the fireplace inside and outside. We always do barbecuing ourselves in the fireplace and are then transformed into a campfire.
Linen still needs to be cared for, but in the summer I hope to have arranged so that this is no longer necessary.
The village of Uzès provides you with all comforts. There are a few supermarkets in the village, but for the larger supermarkets (Intermarché and Carrefour) are about five kilometers away. In Uzès there are cozy restaurants and bakeries in abundance. But Uzès is best known for its market, which is held every Saturday morning and where a large amount of people come every week. A visit to this market can certainly not be missed.
