Our cottages are located in the province of Jämtland – from where you can certainly experience the real Sweden! Above Åre, an hour north of Östersund, close to the Norwegian border and just below the Wilderness Route are the much lesser known Ansättfjällen. Here they say 'ditt eget Alaska'; miniature Alaska, but much closer. Untouched nature, wilderness with animals and plants everywhere. Each season is a unique experience with endless possibilities for activities, such as: (fly) fishing, ice fishing, canoeing, hiking, snowmobile tours, dog sled rides, northern lights safari or 'just' enjoying the impressive nature, tranquility and space. Here you can still experience the (Sami) culture and traditions and meet the real and sincere! Varmt valkommen!
