Modern, light and spacious apartment on the first floor with elevator, located in a beautiful green area on a golf course, with a swimming pool in front of the door. This is for people who like comfort and convenience. There is room for five people plus an optional cot. Approx. 20 minutes from Malaga airport.
Casa Prisma is a bright and spacious apartment with bathroom and two bedrooms, equipped with a double bed and three individual beds of 2 meters in length. A cot can be added. It is fully equipped and has a modern kitchen with dishwasher. There is a living room with dining area, the balcony is covered and offers a view of the slightly lower swimming pool, which you can walk to via a descending footpath. It is fenced and has a door with access code.
The apartment is on the first floor, easily accessible by stairs and elevator. There is plenty of parking in the area.
Alhaurin Golf is located near the Andalusian town of Alhaurin el Grande, a short distance (approx. 15 minutes) from - and just outside the hectic - the coast at Fuengirola, with which it has a fast connection.
It is a pleasant village with about 25,000 inhabitants, shops, terraces and restaurants of good quality.
By car you can reach the provincial capital of Málaga in a short time, but also the famous Costa del Sol coastal towns of Torremolinos, Fuengirola, Marbella and Estepona. The 'neighbouring village' is Mijas, located on the mountainside, a tourist attraction with a beautiful view over the Mediterranean Sea, in clear weather to Gibraltar and the mountains of Morocco.
The sea can be reached from the apartment in about 20 minutes, with directions provided to some quiet beaches with parking and chirinquitos, beach bars where you can eat fish, etc. for a friendly price.
Málaga is a medium-sized lively city (say 500,000 inhabitants) with countless entertainment options. Places of interest are the cathedral, museums (Thyssen and Picasso), the walking area around the harbor with many shops and terraces and the old center, also a pedestrian area.
Marbella is known for the jet set that has been there since the sixties, through its port Puerto Banus where the rich of the world moor and the beautiful old town. Torremolinos, Benalmadena, Fuengirola and Estepona are other well-known Costa del Sol places with various forms of entertainment, all easily and quickly accessible from our apartment.
But there is also a lot to see and do inland. The reservoirs of El Chorro
with the dam built in 1921, intended for the water and electricity supply of Málaga. With the Camino del Rey, a now renovated walking path along the mountain and the gorge through which the Quadalhorce river flows and where the king used to walk to the nearby station. At the reservoir you can rent a boat or canoe and there are swimming facilities.
Another possibility is a trip through the mountains to Ronda, ancient fortified city with the famous Roman bridge over the gorge that divided the two parts of the city.
Or to Gibraltar and beyond, for a dolphin or whale watching trip from Tarifa. In short, in addition to beach life, there is much to see and do in this part of Spain.
