Villa the Sun Dolores

Villa the Sun is located in Dolores, an authentic Spanish village where many activities take place. Our recently completed semi-detached villa with private swimming pool is modernly furnished with all the necessary comfort and is located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of the center. It is only a 30 minute drive from Alicante Airport and 15 minutes to the beautiful sandy beaches of Guardamar del Segura.

The house has 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom is on the ground floor and has a double bed 1.80x2.00, a walk-through closet and a bathroom with double sink and walk-in shower. Next to the bedroom is a separate toilet with a raised toilet.

There are two large bedrooms with a cat wall and a bathroom on the first floor. One bedroom has a double bed 1.60x2.00, the other two single beds. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, washbasin and toilet. Both bathrooms have underfloor heating, a hairdryer and enough hooks for bath towels.
There is a cot with mattress and sheets and a high chair available if necessary.

The spacious living room with lots of light and a view of the swimming pool has a seating and dining area for 6 people with a 4K smart TV with Chromecast. You will find a fully equipped kitchen with a cooking island, equipped with all appliances such as a fridge-freezer, combination microwave, dishwasher, induction hob, as well as a Nespresso coffee machine and kettle.

The entire house has a basement with a separate room for a washing machine, dryer and even ironing is possible. Here you will find household items such as drying rack, vacuum cleaner, etc. The basement is also accessible via an electric garage door. The house has electric shutters and central air conditioning. The air conditioning can be adjusted separately on the ground floor and the first floor. The solar panels allow you to keep electricity costs low.

There is a large sun terrace below the swimming pool (5.30x3.00) with a garden table set for 6 people, 2 sunbeds and an unobstructed view over a small park. On the first floor there is a second terrace, again equipped with garden furniture for 6 people and 2 sunbeds.

In the center of Dolores you will find everything you might need, such as a supermarket, bakery, pharmacy. And on the square near the beautiful church you can relax on one of the terraces. On Fridays there is a large market.

Within walking distance of our house is a sports complex with tennis and paddle courts. Rent a bike and explore the area. Various routes with cycle paths have been constructed. There are also several golf courses in the area and water amusement parks for children.

The beautiful fine sandy beaches of Guardemar del Segura are just 10 km away. Or go to Torrevieja where la Mata is highly recommended with its numerous bars and restaurants.

Go for a day of shopping in one of the large shopping centers such as La Zenia Boulevard, Habaneras in Torrevieja or L'Aljub in Elche. Or just a day trip to Alicante or Murcia, the major cities nearby.

There are too many restaurants to mention. But for the Spanish, lunch is the most important meal. You will find more detailed information about this in our information folder, which is in the house.

You will be welcomed by our Dutch-speaking key holder for check-in and check-out. This person will give you the necessary information and will take the reading of the electricity meter with you.
