You often come across this herd of goats between the holiday home and the coast.
The swimming pool and pool house contain patio furniture, BBQ and a complete bathroom. There is a large thatched roof so you can sit/lie in the shade on the terrace next to the swimming pool.
The authentic white Andalusian village of Arenas is located in a valley behind the holiday home. Arenas is definitely worth a visit. In the distance the Maroma (2067 m), on which there is sometimes snow in winter. In spring and autumn, the Maroma is a beautiful destination for a brisk day walk.
In the evening you can see the lights of Velez Malaga and Torre del Mar on the Mediterranean Sea from the terrace of Casa Permira. In the distance the lights of Malaga.

Horses can be rented near the holiday home. A Dutch-speaking guide organizes tours on unpaved roads in the rural area with beautiful views.
The white village of Competa with beautiful narrow streets is half an hour's drive away. The Pico del Lucero behind it is a tough but unforgettable hiking destination.

The Alhambra in Granada is approximately an hour and a half drive. A visit to the Alhambra is an unforgettable, beautiful experience.

At the entrance to the village, you’ll find some lovely paintings by the renowned ceramicist Virgil Gonzáles. Above Arenas lies the ruin of castle Bentomiz, a fortress from the Moorish period. From there, you have some beautiful views of the area. In the distance, you can see Torremolinos and Fuengirola, and when the weather is clear, you can even see the mountains of Morocco.
