Lovely pool to cool off in. Even after a long day at the beach it is nice to cool off in your own swimming pool.
Large swimming pool (5.75 x 2.75 x 1.35) in the backyard. The ladder has a safety device for children, so that they cannot use it. Please note: The swimming pool is not closed by fencing. Have constant supervision of your children by an adult.

The cozy fishing village of Cabanas with its pleasant pedestrian promenade. It is wonderful to stay here. If you want to go to the beach and Cabanas Island, small boats that sail back and forth will take you to this guarded island. Enjoy the excellent restaurant and fine beach here.
Rota da Costa Atlantica is a well-known cycling and walking route that passes many villages in the Algarve. No cars drive here. It is a wonderful route to explore the area.
The Flamingos are present all year round.
One of the many salt pans in the Ria da Formosa nature reserve. You will be able to admire many species of birds, including storks and flamingos.
Walking boulevard of the cozy fishing village of Cabanas. Various restaurants, bars and shops can be found here. A supermarket is also located 300 m from the boulevard.

Villa Helder has a covered veranda, from where you can see a beautiful sun rise every morning. In the afternoon the porch offers shade. The spacious outdoor terrace below has sun all day.

The living room has space for five guests and is comfortably furnished for both the summer and winter months. From the living room you look at the veranda and the hills.
The kitchen is fully equipped and has doors to the terrace.
The master bedroom is nice and spacious with patio doors to the pool. It has a king bed with a mosquito net for the summer months. The high ceiling keeps the room cool in the hot months.
The bathroom is spacious, with a spacious walk-in shower, sink, toilet and bidet.

Our surrounding area is something very special - here the rocky coast near Falesia.
Very early in the morning our beaches still look like this, especially in autumn and spring you can go on beautiful hikes.
We are already enjoying the splendor of the almond blossoms in early to mid-January.

Tavira is located at the mouth of the Gilão River, and because of this location, it’s sometimes called the Venice of the Algarve. Others prefer to call it the Queen of the Algarve. Perhaps both are true, but one thing is certain - this historic town is set in a beautiful location. The beach is nearby, and there are also numerous historical and cultural sights in the area. At Micazu, you book a holiday home in Tavira directly with the owner, which is cheap, quick and convenient.

If you’re looking for a pleasant atmosphere, then there’s no need to leave Tavira. Take your time and enjoy a drink on the many terraces. Do you like shopping? There are plenty of nice shops and even a large shopping centre. Or you could visit the nearby Moncarapacho or Almancil. Tavira is also close to the border with Spain, so you could even go on a daytrip to Andalusia. Do you prefer the beach? Just six kilometres from Tavira, you’ll find Barril, one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal. The extensive beach of Tavira itself can only be reached by boat. There’s a ferry during the high season that departs from the centre every thirty minutes. In the low season, the ferry sails every day, but only every hour until about 6 pm. It does not depart from the centre but from Quatro Aquas, about 2 kilometres from the centre. Quatro Aquas is clearly indicated on the signs with the words ‘Ilha de Tavira’. There are also four restaurants, a sailing school, a small marina and a large carpark at the ferry departure point.
