This architect-built villa, renovated in 2023, is located on a beautiful spacious garden-oriented plot. The villa is located in the Bosrijk Ruighenrode park. Almost only 2nd houses, so plenty of peace and relaxation. We also ask our guests to take this into account. So not suitable for throwing a party. Everything is new, a kitchen with cooking island with all conceivable necessities, spacious seating area, lovely tables for cozy dining, both inside and outside. You can also cook outside. There is an outdoor kitchen with BBQ, pizza oven, wine cooler and gas stove. Children have also been taken into account, high chairs, beds and various toys are available. The unicorns walk through the garden every day and many birds also come to take a look. All year round the large hot tub near the books. You can accommodate up to 10 people here at the same time. In short, a villa to quickly feel at home and spend a few nice days, weekends or weeks. You hardly have to leave the house, but the wooded area also has a lot to offer you.

Nice that you take a look at my page. I like to first personally welcome my guests upon arrival and briefly show them around the villa. I really enjoy the spontaneous reactions upon arrival. I often hear that it is even more beautiful than in the photos... And afterwards I would like to drop by to hear how it was. They are always nice reactions...
I have been renting the forest villa since 2023 and the forest bungalow since 2020, so I have several years of experience.

Mountain biking
The mountain bike route Lochem has a number of beautiful and challenging single tracks that take you successively over the Paaschberg, the Lochemse Berg and the Kale Berg. At almost 50 meters, the Lochemse Berg is the highest of the three. For Dutch standards, the route is quite tough due to the relatively steep height differences. Most of the route goes through the nature reserve of the Geldersch Landschap.

Between Barchem and Lochem the route is almost flat, nice to warm up first.

The route is part of the MTB network Achterhoek. The Lochem and Borculo routes touch each other and Lochem and Vorden are connected by a connecting route of approximately 1.7 kilometers. The marking of the connecting routes consists of the two colors of the routes that will be connected.
In total there is a continuous route with a length of about 110 kilometers to cycle.

A real members club, challenging and welcoming! About 1,000 members have been united in the Lochemse Golf Club since 1987. An active and genuine members' club, where staff and enthusiastic members are committed to sporting and good golf. They provide a cozy and relaxed atmosphere, in which everyone quickly feels at home. Our members come from far and wide around Lochem in Gelderland. You are of course also very welcome as a guest player.

The job
The 18 hole par 72 golf course is uniquely adapted to the natural environment. The designers Eschauzier & Thate Golfbaan Adviseurs BV in Arnhem have developed a beautiful course in a beautiful Achterhoek bocage landscape. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and are perfectly maintained. The total length for men is 6,001 meters and for women 5,231 meters. Water features, various doglegs, narrow fairways and terrain changes make your round of golf at the Lochemse Golf Club a beautiful and true challenge.

We work with fixed starting times for guest players.
During summer time we have four start times available from 13:00 and four start times from 14:00.
During winter time there are three from 11:00 and three from 12:00.
You are welcome with a flight of up to three people and a fourth person can also join you from 2 p.m. However, the marshal can decide to split up the flight or organize it differently.
In a flight of two, at least one player in your flight must have a maximum handicap of 36.
In a flight of three, at least one player in your flight must have a maximum handicap of 28.
In a flight of four, the combined handicap may not exceed 100.
As a guest of one of our members, having a handicap of 54 is sufficient.
After arrival
You can report to the golf shop prior to your round. Don't forget to bring your ID, you may be asked for this.
Please note: you can only pay by debit card for the payment of the green fee.
After 5 p.m. green fee cards are available through our restaurant Le Rêve. Also in this case advance reservation by telephone is required to avoid disappointment.

Young and older adventurers alike enjoy walking this path full of fun. You can also play old-fashioned Dutch games with us! You will find our games in Museum Farm Erve Brooks Niehof. You can catch a stick, play the hammer game and go fishing there. These Dutch Games are all free.

Clog path
Erve Brooks (Address: Broekhuisdijk 5, 7275 CB Gelselaar) is the official starting point of the Boereneschpad of the clog paths. Discover the varied countryside of Gelselaar, Noordijk and Geesteren. A walk of 12 kilometers (can be shortened to 4 kilometers or extended to 21 kilometers) over the ancient es, along streams and through the restored nature of Noordijkerveld.
The Klompenpad is a free activity.

What do you come across during the Klompenpad?
The answer: a whole lot!
The Klompenpad leads you along paths and roads that have been present for centuries. These roads have often lost their function and are in danger of disappearing.
