Ideal place for a wonderful holiday or a few days off. The cozy cottage, semi-detached, is part of a small-scale park and is beautifully situated on the top row of a sunny southern slope of the Altenaudal. You can sit here on the sunny terrace or in colder weather in front of the wood stove. There is wood that can be used. In the cottage are hiking maps with marked walks in the area.
The cottage is 2 persons, but a baby / toddler can come along if you bring a cot yourself or rent it at the reception.
Pets are not allowed.
There is a cozy restaurant in the park where delicious menus are available.
There is a playground (and a separate playground for small children), football and volleyball field, mini golf course and table tennis table. You can swim in Atteln, 2 km away, in an open-air natural pool with water from the Altenau. There is a launderette next to the reception. The park is car-free. There is a lower and upper parking space where trolleys / wheelbarrows for luggage transport are at your disposal, there is also a disabled parking space. The park may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties. Presence of free wifi but not to download movies. BBQing on an open fire is not allowed, electric BBQ is no problem.
Husen (municipality of Lichtenau), is located in the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia, is located in the Altenau Valley, surrounded by the Teutoburg Forest, the Egge Mountains and the Sauerland.
Walking through the forest or along the fields: it is enjoying nature whether it is spring, summer, autumn or winter. The park is mainly surrounded by protected natural areas.
The nearby city of Paderborn offers history, culture, gastronomy, cozy streets and terraces.
There are many places of interest and numerous day trips to be made in the area. Leaflets with tourist information are in the cottage as well as various maps of the region.
In Atteln there is a supermarket, bakery, butcher and pharmacy, you can also pin there.
