walking or book a boat trip on the Mosel. There are also many nice daytrips you can undertake from Cochem.

beauty & spa visits, you must go to the Therme Vulkaneifel spa in Bad Bertrich.
Manderscheid is another famous spa, half an hour further down the
Eifel. And you must definitely do some wine tasting while in Cochem.

Nice things to know about Cochem
- One of the most beautiful viewpoints over Cochem is the Pinner Kreuz, a mountain station at an altitude of 250 metres. You can walk there, but it’s a lot easier to take the chair lift.
- Tip for action fans: a daytrip to the Nürburgring, a famous racing track in the city of Nürburg in Rhineland-Palatinate.
- The longest tunnel in Germany, the 4,216 metre long Kaiser-Wilhelm-Tunnel, runs near Cochem. The railway tunnel is also called Cochemer Tunnel.
