Ferienhaus Vulkaneifel Kopp

The walks start literally at the front door of "Ferienhaus Vulkaneifel Kopp". The house is situated in the quiet village Kopp, about 11 km south-west of the spa town of Gerolstein and 17 km south-east of Prüm. The house was built in 1984 and was years in the possession of a walking club. That is no coïncidence. In the beautiful surroundings (the volcanic Eifel region has the title UNESCO Global Geopark) you can make many beautiful walks. The house is available for a large group (maximum 26 people). Think of families (festive occasion or reunion) and sports (kayaking, cycling).

Geography of the house
The house is very practical. There are 9 bedrooms with a shower, sink and toilet in every bedroom. Two of these bedrooms are on the ground floor, and are suitable for the disabled (no steps). The bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible (a rollator works). On the ground floor are the common room, kitchen, extra toilets and a drying room. On the first floor are the remaining 7 bedrooms (one room is equipped for 4 people and one room for 6 people). The second floor is decorated as multifuxtioneel play, practice or hobby room.

Surroundings
In the beautiful surroundings can be made all kinds of activities. Such as hiking, biking, kayaking etc. The walks start literally at the front door. Opposite the house begin many walks on marked trails. At Birresborn (4km) start several mountain bike trails. You can cycle for miles along the rivers Kyll, Prüm and Nims. On these rivers you can also go kayaking. But slightly further away, with plenty of water, for those who want more difficult water, there are the Irreller Wasserfalle of the Prüm, the Endertbach and the Upper Rur.
And not to forget the heavy bike work, cycling or mountain biking through the hills. When there is snow in the winter you can also find additional cross-country skiing and skiing.
If you prefer a little visit? The area has lots to see. Leaflets about the various attractions are in the house. And if the weather is bad, there is a beautiful attic where can be done all kinds of activities. Also fun for a games evening.
