Quietly located ruralhut in the beautiful Limousin.

Surrounded by forests and meadows and with a beautiful garden. The garden is completely fenced so that a dog, if you bring one, can safely run loose.

A narrow road leads to the house and ends where the house stands and the forest begins. There is only one other house on the same road.

The house is comfortable. There is a spacious, attractive living/dining room with an open kitchen. On the ground floor there is also a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.

An open staircase leads to the first floor. There is a bedroom with a double bed. There are two single beds on the landing, so that the house is also suitable for four people. We can provide a cot.

There is also a gypsy wagon on the property that is fully equipped (bedroom, double bed and small bathroom with toilet and sink).
If it is too hot there in the summer, we are happy to provide air conditioning. Exciting place for slightly older children.

We, Letty and Leo, have been living and working in De Haute Vienne since 2002.

We both worked in education, but in recent years we have been growing microgreens for restaurants.

Now that the retirement age is rapidly approaching, we have started to reflect on our living situation.

This led to the purchase of Las Abbayas for when the time has come when our farm becomes too large and too laborious for us.

This is not yet the case and we are happy to offer Abbayas for rent.

Explanation of prices

If the tenant wishes to cancel the booking for whatever reason, the tenant must always confirm this to the landlord by e-mail (even if this has already been passed on to the landlord by telephone, for example). The landlord will charge the following amounts: depending on the date of written cancellation by the renter:

cancellation more than 3 months before the start of the rental period: free of charge
cancellation between the 90th and the 60th day before the start of the rental period: 25% of the rental price
cancellation between the 59th and 30th day before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant only announces on the commencement date or during the rental period that he will not use the rented property (anymore), he will still owe the full rental price.

The deposit is € 150.
Costs for electricity are calculated on departure at € 0.18 per KWh.
The final cleaning costs € 60.
