La Fontbonne is a detached holiday home in the middle of nature just outside the picturesque village of Alba la Romaine. Here you will find yourself in an oasis of peace in a beautiful setting with a view of the valley through which the river Escoutay runs. Behind the house is the swimming pool of 4.5 x 12 meters where you cannot be heard or seen by anyone. Until October, the bathing water is still wonderful to swim in!
The mountainous terrain of 2.5 hectares is covered with various trees and plants and also has cleared areas that are great for walking. The property is not fenced and there are no direct neighbors or other buildings.
At the front of the house is a spacious terrace, which is partly covered, where you can spend the whole day. The house has a dining room, a living room, 3 bedrooms, 2 with a double bed and 1 children's room with bunk beds and a single bed. There are 2 bathrooms.
The village of Alba la Romaine is 1 km away and with its medieval character and Roman remains "l'un des plus beaux villages de France". But also in the wider area there are many sights such as the river Ardeche, on which you can canoe.
You can swim well into October! Thanks to the sliding roof, the swimming water remains wonderfully warm and the swimming pool is transformed into an open-air bath in no time. The swimming pool can also be used with a closed roof.
