We rent out our cottage 'Åsa' in southern Sweden near the village of Grimslöv and right on the edge of the forest. The best place to relax, but also for an active holiday. There are countless hiking trails nearby and you might come face to face with the king of the forest, the moose. Or take a city trip to Växjö with its many shops and restaurants. Near Växjö is the lake Åsnen. A huge nature reserve where you can enjoy walking, cycling and bird watching. Always wanted to know where the first Ikea is? Go to Älmhult and visit the Ikea Museum. Discover how Ikea made the small village of Älmhult great.

The house that we rent out is a typical Swedish wooden house from 1925, but because of that low ceilings and doorways! It is 80m2 in size and can accommodate up to 4 people. Downstairs you will find the living room with wood stove and patio doors to the veranda with garden furniture and a bbq. There is wifi, Dutch television and air conditioning. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. Downstairs there is also a modern bathroom with shower and toilet. Upstairs is a 2nd toilet and 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 single beds. Washing machine is available. We also keep chickens and the ladies like to spoil our guests with a farm-fresh egg in the morning!
