Welcome to our wonderful holiday home in the beautiful province of Jämtland, Sweden. Located along a quiet side street of the popular 'Vildmarksvägen', our comfortable, spacious house can accommodate 8 people. To the left of the entrance you will find the kitchen, practically furnished and well equipped. Behind the kitchen is a large double bedroom. The living room is fully equipped and equipped with TV, DVD and music installations. There are enough movies and games available to enjoy the rainy days. You will also find brochures and flyers with lots of information about sights and activities in the area. The bathroom is on the ground floor, there is a shower cabin, toilet and sink. On the first floor there is a triple bedroom (double bed and single bed), a room with a double bed and a room with 2 single beds. In addition, there is a second living room and a toilet upstairs.
Outside there is a grill area and nice seating areas to enjoy the sultry summer evenings.
Our house is next to the holiday house, and we have sheep, pigs, chickens and turkeys. In the summer time we grow our own vegetables as much as possible, and we have fresh eggs every day. We make our own sausages, burgers and cold cuts from the meat we have.
You can relax here, the wooded area and quiet country roads are ideal for walking and cycling. The many beautiful lakes are ideal for kayaking or a day of fishing. In the late summer / autumn there are many wild berries and mushrooms to pick. In the winter you can enjoy cross-country skiing or ice fishing, and there are a number of opportunities in the area for snowmobiling and dog sledding.
Strömsund (50km) is the nearest town where you can find supermarkets, shops, restaurants, etc., and Östersund (nearest airport) is 150km away.
