Casa Calderona is a lovely and modern apartment in the village of Naquera. Naquera is located in La Serra Calderona: a protected nature reserve 30 kilometers north of Valencia.
Our recently modernized apartment has two bedrooms and everything you need to enjoy a successful holiday or even for longer periods as a base for work, study or just to explore the area.
From the balcony and spacious roof terrace you can enjoy fantastic views to the mountains, surrounding villages and even a glimpse of the sea and the city of Valencia.
In the building you can choose between enjoying a dip in the communal swimming pool or playing a game of tennis or padel.
Day at the beach? The beautiful beaches of Pobla de Farnals are a 20-minute drive away. The center of Valencia is easily reached by car at a 30 minute drive or by metro from Bètera station (6 km from the apartment). The airport is 25 minutes by car.
Valencia enjoys one of the best climates in Europe, with more than 2600 hours of sunshine per year (the Netherlands has 1600). In summer it is on average around 30 degrees and because we are in the mountains, there is always a nice breeze. Also in winter Valencia offers a wide range of activities such as museums, parks, unique shopping streets and lovely terraces.
There is much to see in the immediate vicinity. In Casa Calderona you are surrounded by mountains and rivers, where you can walk, cycle or horseback ride from home. In winter there is even a possibility to ski, just over an hour's drive from Naquera.
