Located in the beautiful village of Comares which has been declared 'Pueblo Magico d' España', you will find this very spacious and excellently equipped house Casa José with sensational views of the Axarquía mountains. Sitting on the roof terrace and enjoying the sunrise and sunset with the beautiful play of colors on the mountains is a special and unforgettable experience that many customers return for year after year.
As you enter the house there is a large hall leading to a cozy living room with pellet stove and fireplace for the cooler nights. The living room opens onto a semi-open, fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher and all kitchen utensils. Also on this floor you will also find a double bedroom and a bathroom with toilet, bidet and bath. Upstairs there are 3 further double bedrooms, all with sensational views, and a second bathroom with toilet, bidet and shower. Then you go via a small staircase to the amazing roof terrace with breathtaking views. There you will find a barbecue and the private jacuzzi. Table, chairs and sunbeds invite you to have an aperitif and eat outside. There is air conditioning on a 'pay as you use' basis in 3 bedrooms and the living room.
Casa José is located on the edge of the village so that it can enjoy the beautiful view and yet it is only a few minutes walk to the village supermarket, the bakery (bread baked in a wood oven!), the pharmacy, banks and nice, cozy bars/ restaurants where you can enjoy the typical dishes of this amazing village known as 'the pearl of the Axarquia'! Comares is a picturesque and famous white Andalusian village with a unique location 739 meters above sea level. From the village square you have a fantastic view from the sea to the sierras.
The village is approximately 1 hour's drive from Malaga and 1 hour and 20 minutes' drive from Granada. The multi-award winning beach of Torre del Mar can be reached in just over half an hour by car. In the immediate vicinity of the house you can take beautiful walks, cycle, mountain bike or even rock climb. The largest Tirolina in Spain with 3 vias ferratas is located just outside Comares. Here daredevils can even spend the night in hammocks on steel cables, above the abyss. All kinds of attractions, from karting to pony trekking, water parks, historic towns, Spanish bars, air-conditioned shopping centers or typical cobbled villages, golf courses and sandy beaches, are all reachable within an hour by car. Nerja with its picturesque beaches and famous caves is just 1 hour drive away, within 2 hours you can be parked at, and skiing in the Sierra Nevada.
Malaga, Ronda, Cordoba (Mezquita), Granada (Alhambra) or the world famous Caminito del Rey in Ardales, are all easy to visit on a day trip. Golf: The nearest golf course is approximately a 40-minute drive away. The 18 hole Baviera golf course is located between Velez Malaga and Torre Del Mar and membership is not required. Details on request. And if you'd rather just relax, the Andalusian countryside is great for picnics, bird watching, admiring the impressive starry skies, painting or photography. Our guests are always pleasantly surprised by the enormous variety of activities and the beauty of nature that this region of Spain has to offer.

Air conditioning costs: 30 euros per week are included in your rate, after which you pay for what you use. The average cost is €1 for 1 hour, depending on the temperature setting. Please note that air conditioning is only available in all rooms.
