MODERN APARTMENT WITH BEAUTIFUL VIEWS of the sea, beach and the peninsula of Peñíscola. Perfect location with the beach at 300 m walking distance! Receiving WiFi and Dutch TV via satellite dishes (Canal Digital basic subscription).

This cozy, modern and fully furnished apartment is located on the 1st floor of a recently built apartment complex. The complex is located on a hill on the sea side. The walk from the beach to the top has an average gradient of 11% over a length of 300 meters.

The apartment is on the ground floor and can accommodate up to 4 people. In addition to a living / dining room and an open kitchen, there are two 2-person bedrooms with comfortable luxury box springs and a small bathroom with toilet and walk-in shower.

The sliding doors in the living room give access to a cozy private balcony with fantastic views over the south beach, the sea and the peninsula of Peñíscola. In addition, there is an excellent view of the communal swimming pool at the front of the apartment complex. Next to the pool - which also has a shallow area for the little ones - there are some play equipment.

The car can be parked in a private parking space in the closed, covered parking garage of the complex. An elevator goes from the garage to the complex.

The very cozy Peñíscola offers something for everyone. Everything is a short walk away: the wide beach, many terraces, restaurants and shops, a supermarket, the harbor, the old walled city area ... don't feel like walking? Bicycles and scooters are available for rent in the area!

The surrounding area is also beautiful. Sierra de Irta National Park, south of Peñíscola, is a rugged nature reserve with a great variety of flora and fauna, castle ruins and deserted bays. Accommodation and surroundings therefore offer everything for a top holiday!

Guests are warmly welcomed on arrival and shown around by our English key holder Linda or one of her employees. A small welcome note on our behalf gets you off to a good start.

Welcome! We are Martin and Lucia, proud owners of this lovely apartment, 300 meters from the beach, with a sea view and a beautiful view of the peninsula of Peñíscola! Everything for a top holiday is present: sun, sea, beach and entertainment! The complex has a small swimming pool where you can cool down after the beach. A private parking space in the closed garage below the complex completes the comfort. Look no further, choose our dream apartment!

PAYMENT AND BOOKING TERMS:
For payment details, see Micazu's booking confirmation. Payment in 2 installments. When booking: 20% rental amount (minimum € 100). After confirmation of receipt, the booking is final. Six weeks before arrival: remainder of the rent + deposit. Last minutes full payment rent + deposit upon booking.

No rights can be derived from placing a booking in the online calendar and the subsequent confirmation. The booking is only final after the above conditions have been met. The lessor is entitled to cancel the booking if the above conditions are not met.

Peñíscola is fun for everyone!

Beach
For beach lovers there is the kilometer-long northern beach, and the much smaller southern beach on which the apartment overlooks. Everywhere rentals are sunbeds and umbrellas.

Culture
The peninsula is a beautiful historic city center. In medieval castle resided Papa Luna, a pope who lived outside Vatican City. Stroll through the narrow streets and enjoy a colorful spectacle!

Nature
The southern coast is rugged, with steep cliffs and coves. Here is Sierra de Irta.

sportive
The coast is ideal for all water sports. In the Sierra de Irta hikers, and mountain bikers can head harlopers. Along the northern boulevard runs a long flat bike path.

remaining
Within walking distance are many shops, restaurants, bars, clubs, pubs and discos can be found. There is even a casino!

Drinking is introduced something at the terrace bar Puertomar in the auction if the catch.

Bus, metro or taxi to train station Estació Del Nord – Valencia, Carrer de Xátiva. The bus station of Valencia Airport is between the terminal and parking garage P1. AEROBUS From the airport to three stops in Valencia. Get off at Calle Bailen stop, 6 minutes walk to the train station. Every 20 minutes between 06.00 – 22.00. Travel time ½ hour. Cost of ticket around €2.75. BUS 150 (yellow Fernanbús) From the airport to several stops in Valencia. Get off at the Mercat Central stop (Avenida Barón de Carcer 26), a 10-minute walk to the train station. Monday - Friday every half hour. NOT on Sundays and public holidays! Travel time 40 minutes. Cost of ticket around €1.45. METRO In the arrivals hall, take the escalator down. Metro lines 3 and 5 (red and green lines) go to the center. AEROBUS From the airport to several stops in Barcelona. Get off at the Placa Espanya stop, 11 minutes walk to the train station. Daily every 20 minutes between 06.00 – 22.00. Travel time ½ hour. Cost of ticket per person around €2.75. TAXI One way around €25. 2. From Estació Del Nord train station to Benicarlo-Peñiscola train station. From the train station, take a taxi to the final destination. Travel time 15 minutes.. Flying and booking a rental car Fly: Ryanair - to Reus and Barcelona; Transavia - to Valencia and Barcelona; Vueling - to Valencia and Barcelona. Book a rental car well in advance. A credit card is required for this. Reliable rental websites include: Easyterra.nl and Cheap-carverhuur.com. Follow the steps. Important: arrange your own risk rental insurance in advance online, for example via Allianz. Taking out a deductible insurance policy at the counter of the car rental company is more expensive, and then not necessary. By car Distance about 1800 km. Toll costs around € 100. Book a hotel in advance for an overnight stay.

The (key) management of the apartment is in the hands of the English Linda.
She receives guests on arrival, during the stay of the contact, and coordinates the cleaning.

Reception
On arrival Linda welcomes guests at the appointed place, and go with them to the apartment. Once inside follow the necessary explanations. Upon receipt of the agreed amount Linda handing over the key. Upon arrival a welcome on behalf of our attention ready!

Extra service
Only in consultation with Linda - and at a to be determined by consideration - it can provide additional services, such as transportation to / from train station or doctor, babysitting services, etcetera.

The peninsula and the northern beach were in 1961 set the stage for the spectacle film El Cid, with starring Charlton Heston and Sophia Loren as El Cid and Jimena. Peñiscola featured in the film as the city of Valencia.

The story
The film is based on a true story. In the 11th century, Spain was almost entirely in the hands of the Moors who ruled Spain between 800-1300. El Cid or El Cid Campeador (Lord Victor) wants to marry Jimena. He wants peacemaking between Moors and Christians, and let some prisoners emirs free. This is seen as a betrayal of the king. Jimena's father dies in a duel with Rodrigo.

Peniscola is the battle between the Moors and the Christians commemorated annually in September at the Fiestas Patronales with the Desfile Moros y Cristianos, a spectacular entrance.

The innumerable citrus plantations are most characteristic of this region, the Costa del Azahar or orange blossom coast. In spring is everywhere the sweet scent of orange blossom.

The different types of oranges are ripe between November and March. The fruits discolor around November from green to orange. For discoloration cool nights are required. Oranges in the tropics therefore stay green! The fruit is between November and March harvested by hand.

The beautiful 18-hole par 72 golf course Panorámica Golf & Country Club in Sant Jordi is just 30 minutes drive away.

This golf course is one of the best in Spain. Mediterranean surroundings is beautiful.

The most beautiful holes are number 5, a par 3 with a length of 133 meters from the yellow tee and a green island size, and number 11 with a length of 502 meters with a huge water hazard on the left, 200 meters from the green.

Unfortunately, it is possible that the holiday has to be canceled or interrupted earlier. Therefore, always take out travel and cancellation insurance! Possible reasons for cancellation (varies by insurance) * Death or serious illness of a traveler or close family * Involuntary unemployment * Fire or burglary damage to property of the insured, requiring return Cancellation policy after booking *Immediately after booking up to 6 weeks before arrival date - the agreed deposit. *From 6 weeks before arrival date - the fully agreed rental amount.
