L'Ampolla is ideally located. There are several beaches in close proximity and of course the Delta of the Ebro, which is a UNESCO heritage site for its huge variety of birdlife including flamengos.
At about 40 minutes is the theme Park "Port Aventura" with a dolphinarium and Ferrari World. For a city trip, Tortosa (20min), Tarragona (40min), Barcelona 1.4 hours) and Valencia (2 hours) are within easy reach
