The detached villa has unlimited views over the grounds with Mediterranean vegetation, the house has a private swimming pool, large (partly covered) terrace with non-slip tiles, patio furniture, sun beds, etc. Air conditioning, free WiFi. Present: ceramic hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, Senseo and toaster.
Use of water, electricity, bed, bath and kitchen linen is free.

Internally, the house is completely on one level, so no stairs, 3 steps between street level and the house, 1 step from the house to the terrace. All windows and sliding doors have decorative ironwork and shutters, all bedrooms also have mosquito screens. The bars increase security, you can leave your windows open without unwanted visitors entering.
I recently attended a webinar by Micazu and it talked about "target group" tenants and what "experience" you offer your tenants. The MCC (Mazarron Country Club) is a quiet residential area, so it does not have a flashy nightlife. But there is plenty to discover and visit. If I would like to name the target group of "Los Arcos", I think of seniors, but they can combine their stay with their children and/or grandchildren.
"Los Arcos" is located at the Mazarron Country Club, province of Murcia, 3 km from the town of Mazarron, Mazarron consists of Mazarron village and Puerto de Mazarron on the coast. Here are many beaches, harbours, restaurants, terraces and boulevards. This coast is called the Costa Calida.
The resort is spacious, with lots of greenery, well maintained, no high-rise buildings, but many detached houses.
We use a card system for electricity use, with normal use this is sufficient for your stay.

Living room
The living room is furnished with a sofa, dining area, TV, etc
Dutch channels (and many foreign ones), radio/music equipment is available. The living room has air conditioning (hot and cold). On the side of the living room, the house has been expanded with a 3rd bedroom and 2nd bathroom.
There are folders with brochures about tourist trips, house book and guest book.

Bathrooms

The bathrooms each have a shower, toilet and sink.

Bedrooms
There is a bedroom with 1x double bed 140 x 200 cm and a bedroom with 2x single bed 80 x 200 cm. The 3rd bedroom has 2x single box spring beds 70 x 200 cm.

Bath and linen
There is sufficient bath, bed and kitchen linen. It is recommended that you bring your own bath towel.

Children's furniture
For a small child there is a camping bed, baby bath, high chair with table top, toilet and changing mat.
And for toddlers 2 chairs and a table (plastic, so also suitable for outdoors).

Furnishings and equipment
There is air conditioning, and there are electric fans; books and games also available.

Parking
There is ample parking. On your own property, or on the road (along the curb).

Swimming pool
The fully tiled private swimming pool (8 x 4 m) has steps. Next to it is an outdoor shower. Maintenance included in rental price.

Garden furniture
There is a large tiled terrace, partly covered, with plenty of tables, chairs, sunbeds and a barbecue. The terrace was re-laid with anti-slip tiles at the beginning of 2017. Please note that when you leave the living room, do not close the sliding doors completely behind you, as you will then lock yourself out....

Activities
The park offers various recreational options, such as tennis courts and a large communal swimming pool. There is a restaurant.
The jeu de boules court is located opposite our house.
The nearest 18-hole golf course is a 5-minute drive away.
The area is also suitable for walking, cycling and horse riding.

Other
In the area there are historic cities and modern shopping centers. The Sierra Espuna is a protected nature reserve.
In Mazarron itself, the town hall deserves attention: Ayuntamiento, Castillo, several churches and the market.
Puerto: promenade, harbor with lighthouse, fishing port, marina, Sunday market, archeology museum.
Bolnuevo: Sierra de las Moreras, Ciudad encantada, [special ''dog beach'' for dog lovers - playa canina].
Mula: Castillo. La Azohia: Torre Santa Elena.
It is possible to take boat trips at sea, rent bicycles and follow walking routes.
Surrounding cities: Murcia, Cartagena, Almería, Lorca, Aguillas; Granada [Alhambra and Generalife] is a 2 ½ hour drive away.

Coming from the north [from Alicante] drive on the E15/A7 towards Almeria/Granada. Around Murcia, follow direction Almeria/Granada. Exit number 627 mentions Bahia de Mazarron, Alhama de Murcia and Mazarron. Take exit 627 B and head towards Mazarron. After about 4 km turn right at the roundabout towards Mazarron, this is road no. RM 23, later becomes RM 3. Exit no. 20 [El Pareton, Urbanizacion Country Club]. Continue towards Mazarron; Roundabout almost 360° around; follow Urbanizacion to the left. After passing the garden center, Mazarron Country Club is on the right.

Mazarron Country Club is part of Mazarron, which also includes the coastal part with Puerto de Mazarron. On the bay of Mazarron are also the places and beaches: La Azohia, Isla Plana, Puerto de Mazarron and Bolnuevo. Puerto de Mazarron has several beaches, a boulevard with restaurants and terraces and various ports (fishing port, pleasure boats) a visit to the higher grounds of the lighthouse [El Faro] is recommended: beautiful view as well as from the nearby Corazon de Jesus viewpoint . The fish dishes and tapas from the Spanish menu are definitely worth trying. You can do your shopping in the large supermarket of Camposol, which is 5 minutes away, or in Mazarron itself, or in Puerto de Mazarron, a little further away. Also worth mentioning is the region around Tabernas, north of Almeria, this semi-desert has several amusement parks. For example mini Hollywood, where the film locations of westerns and Game of Thrones are located, look for Parque Temática Oasys. The Tabernas Desert is a separate area for traveling or hiking. The nearby Camposol urbanization in Sector B has a nice shopping square with cozy terraces, a well-stocked supermarket [Consum] and parking in the surrounding areas is free, everything within walking distance. The park itself has a communal swimming pool [open in high season]. There are tennis courts and an opportunity to play Jeu de Boules. There is also a jeu de boules court in front of us, a set of jeu de boules balls is located in the house. On the internet you can find enough information about: Restaurants. Mazarron village, Puerto de Mazarron and Camposol also offer plenty of shopping opportunities.
In the nearby major cities, such as Carthagena and Murcia, there are enormous shopping malls.
So you really can't do without a car, but you also need one for the transfers from the airport to the house.
If you stay in the area, you can go to Camposol for your regular daily shopping, both in sections A and B there are modest shopping squares. Follow RM-3, direction Totana, exit number 15 = Camposol (approx. 5 km).
Parking is available in nearby parking lots, free of charge.
Section B has a pleasant shopping square with many terraces, restaurants and, among other things, the Consum supermarket. Compusurf, the provider for the WiFi signal, is also located here.
A Mercadona branch was opened in Mazarron South (sur) in 2014, [with a huge number of parking spaces, also for mobile homes, free], located on the Avenida de las Moreras.
The easiest way to reach this Mercadona is to follow road number RM-3 from the entrance of the Country Club to Mazarron, this is in the direction of Pto.Mazarron (=Puerto de Mazarron) until the end, intersection with road number RM 332, turn left here, At the next intersection, turn left and you will automatically see the Mercadona on the Carretera de las Moreras: on the right.

If you drive from the Country Club to Puerto de Mazarron, a new shopping center has been opened just before it on the right (2019) ''Mazarron Park'' with Mercadona, Aldi, Jysk, BurgerKing, etc., also plenty of free parking space.
Drive a little further and you will arrive at the next shopping square with several smaller shops, terraces and a Lidl branch across the road, also with ample parking space.
Ps in Mazarron village/center it is sometimes difficult to find a parking space.

For tenants with an Islamic background: there is a Halal shop in the front of Mazarron village, opposite which is a fairly large parking lot.

The villa is located at the Mazarron Country Club, province of Murcia [Costa Calida].
This resort is large, without being ''massive'', there is a spacious communal swimming pool with hot tub (operational in high season), restaurant, tennis courts, jeu de boules court.
The beach is about 8 km away.
The homes are owned by owners of different nationalities (including Spanish, English, Swedish, German, French, Belgian, Dutch) and quite a few live there permanently, because of the mild climate!
Accessibility: own car from, for example, the Netherlands, approximately 2200 km on good (partly toll) roads; but a lot faster by plane, you will need a rental car, which you can arrange directly online with your flight tickets. It is definitely advisable to have a (rental) car at your disposal to explore the area, do shopping, etc.
From Aeropuerto Alicante it is more than 1 hour's drive to the MCC, distance ± 120 km.

Access to the MCC site is closed by a barrier.
This is at both the main entrance (Avenida Victoria) and the back entrance
(RM-E19).

To prevent damage to sidewalks, the rule at the MCC is that you are not allowed to park your car on the sidewalk. On your own property is an option, but along the sidewalk on the road is also common.

The MCC VvE also has rules for dog owners. You are expected to dispose of your pet's feces in the appropriate red containers. Dogs must be kept on a leash.

If you decide to come and stay with us with your pet, it may be useful to know that our site has mesh fences all around, approximately 150 cm high, both at the back and on both sides, as well as on the street side, where the fence height is. above the garden wall 73 cm. The gate height of the entrance gate and parking is 180 cm.
