Our place is located just 40 minutes north of Barcelona and we offer an independent and detached guesthouse (the Casita) on our Finca. The Casita is located next to our main house on a plot of 20,000 m2, making it wonderfully quiet and ideal for people who want to get away from the hustle and bustle, but still close to the beach and Barcelona. The site is located next to a golf course and in an exclusive residential area with spacious villas so that neighbors are at a considerable distance. Situated at an altitude of approximately 250 metres, it offers spectacular panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea. We are just minutes away from 3 golf courses, 7 minutes (car) from the beach and direct access to natural parks for walking and mountain biking. We are a Dutch couple living with our 3 dogs and 3 cats, who roam freely. We speak Dutch, English, Spanish, French & German.
The Casita is a guesthouse of 45m2 and has a living room with open kitchen fully equipped (oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, coffee maker & washing machine), double bed, bathroom, air conditioning & heating, Wi-Fi (fiber optic). Unfortunately, our site is not suitable for guests with reduced mobility due to the hilly terrain.
We welcome our guests to roam freely, with the exception of the private area of the main house. From the guesthouse you have direct access to the grounds and this takes you from the chicken coop, to the Bali bed, the swimming pool, the Tiki Bar, Jeux de Boule and the vegetable garden. All these zones are shared with us and our guests. The pool is normally closed between November and the end of April - weather permitting.
We, Klaas & Jenny are a Dutch couple who came to Spain about 10 years ago. Before we came to Spain we lived in the Netherlands, England, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, Belgium, Germany and France. But the Mediterranean part of Spain has captured our hearts. So we finally settled here. We love nature, animals and tranquility, but also good cooking, food and wine. We live here with our 3 dogs, 3 cats and 8 chickens who provide fresh eggs daily... Although our dogs are friendly and loving we recommend that you as a guest are comfortable with dogs as they roam freely on the property and you visit regularly can greet.
Our house is located between two nearby villages (Sant Vicenç de Montalt and Sant Andreu de Llavaneres) but is in a fairly private area that is only accessible by a forest road (500 meters). We recommend that our guests have a vehicle. Free parking is possible on or directly next to the site.
The Mediterranean climate makes it possible to play golf all year round. There are 55 golf courses in Catalunya, three of which are just around the corner (a few minutes drive such as Llavaneres Golf Club). Many others, such as PGA Catalunya Golf and Wellness, within 45 minutes drive. The Costa Brava starts just 35km from the house. Because we want to offer peace and quiet in a beautiful natural environment, parties or excessive noise that could be disruptive are not permitted. We prefer bookings from visitors who are looking for peace and quiet and want to enjoy beautiful excursions from here. We would like to point out that we cannot admit more people than indicated when booking (maximum 2). This means that use of the grounds including the swimming pool is only intended for the guests who have booked. And because we live in a protected natural park, open fires are not allowed.
