A wonderfully spacious holiday home with a large 10.5m XX-L-shape private swimming pool (not 100% private / little visible) made for a real holiday and enjoying the moments with friends and family.
Relax in the shallow (50cm) area with a can of beer or play with the children.
You can also swim laps because the pool is more than 10 meters long.
Casa Milvan has a large (50m2) covered terrace for dining in the sun, but also with places to lie in the sun.
Located just outside the white mountain village of Competa in the Axarquia region, it is the perfect place to relax under the sun and enjoy the tranquility, wonderful climate and beauty of Andalusia.
The location of the house in the mountains among the olive trees offers the tranquility of the mountain country and at the same time you have the convenience of the village with its shops, supermarkets, restaurants and terraces within walking distance (downhill)!!!
Since the end of 2017, the house has been accessible via a real concrete road (instead of the former bumpy path). There are a few hairpin bends in the last 400 meters from the main road, but you get used to them quickly.
Casa Milvan has 4 spacious bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
The house consists of two parts, which is ideal because everyone can choose to start or end the day at their own time in the morning and evening.
There are several terraces and seating areas around the house, so that you can find shade somewhere at any time of the day.
In the main house with high (4m at the tip) sloping ceilings there is a spacious living room (with fireplace for winter evenings), 2 spacious bedrooms with high ceilings, bathroom and a very spacious open kitchen that is fully equipped.
From the living room you can step onto the 60m2 large (and fully fenced) terrace from which you have a view over the valley and Andalusian mountains.
The terrace is a wonderful place to have breakfast, sunbathe, dine, enjoy balmy evenings and admire the starry sky.
Next to the house is the L-shaped 10m long swimming pool with a separate "paddling pool" of 60cm deep, a second terrace and the BBQ area, from here you can reach the lower part via a staircase, which has another small terrace. The edge of the pool on the valley side is 4 meters high, this is something to keep in mind for families with (small) children because there is a risk of falling. It is also not allowed to get onto the edge of the pool on the valley side.
In the basement under the terrace (with private entrance) there are two more spacious bedrooms, a small shower toilet bathroom. To get to the 4th bedroom you have to walk through the other bedroom. There are also fans.
Casa Milvan is the perfect base for discovering other white mountain villages, natural parks (hiking, mountain biking, horse riding, rafting, etc.), beaches of the Costa del Sol and the cities of Malaga and Granada.
Competa. One of the largest white mountain villages in the Axarquia region in the mountains of Andalusia. The village is located at an altitude of 665 meters and has a wonderfully dry and warm climate. Despite the many Europeans who have a second home here, it has retained its Spanish culture and customs.
*5 minutes to Competa (15-20 minutes "hiking" for fit people without limitations)
*25 minutes to the coast (Torrox costa or Algrrobo costa)
*45 minutes to Malaga
*50 minutes to Malaga airport
*80 minutes to Granada
