Your dream, a rural private VILLA with swimming pool? Wake up in this southern Spanish paradise. Andalusia offers everything, book now and enjoy later! Feel like a king in this beautifully situated Villa in what is called the "Tuscany of Spain", the BEAUTIFUL Spanish hills/mountains of the hinterland of the eastern Costa del Sol (coast half an hour's drive away). Surrender yourself to the "Villa Felderhof" feeling, but on a smaller scale and, above all, AFFORDABLE! Whether it concerns a ROMANTIC stay for two or a pleasant holiday with two families, this wonderful, intimate Villa is your southern Spanish place in the sun! Read more.

Villa Amarilla is located one hour's drive from Malaga airport in the beautiful hilly/mountainous hinterland of the eastern Costa del Sol, an area known as "AXARQUÍA", popular for its beautiful mountain landscapes, green hills with olive and almond trees and scattered houses and farms. The village of Comares is located at an altitude of 700 meters in the hills/mountains, the Villa is located on a slope below the village, at an altitude of about 550 meters, hence the beautiful views. The road to it from the coast (15 minutes flat/15 minutes hills), winding through a beautiful natural/cultural landscape, is well and completely asphalted, but of course with many bends. The last minutes are on a typical, local and un-Dutch sand/concrete road, so no asphalt, which is very normal here in the Spanish "flat" country, but certainly takes some getting used to for an average Dutch person in the beginning. (Please also read chapter 6 "ACCESSIBILITY OF THE VILLA" under “Tips from the landlord”). Your reward: Complete privacy, pure freedom and super views over green mountains to the coast and the sea in the distance!

Comares is a special and characterful village. It has been chosen as one of the “Pueblos Mágicos”, a network of the most magical villages in Spain! It has restaurants, bars, bank, pharmacy and a SUPERMARKET.
The combination of the friendly residents and healthy air explains why this area is called the "Tuscany of Spain". A big advantage: You can reach the coastal area in just over half an hour and, although some distance away, it is not far, so even those who love the BEACH experience will get their money's worth. At the same time, you avoid the hustle and bustle of the coast and, after a day at the beach, you can retreat to your lovely Villa with its own swimming pool, quietly located in the hills/mountains. Suitable for those who occasionally enjoy the beach, as well as for peace and nature lovers, hikers, etc. The nearest beach is Torre del Mar, but Nerja, which is further away, is also loved by many because of its beautiful beaches (also FKK). Nerja is an old fishing village and now a tourist attraction (beach promenade "Balcon de Europa", stalactite caves) that has fortunately been spared the unsightly high-rise buildings. You will find more than enough facilities on the coast: A wide choice of bars and restaurants, shopping, including in the mega shopping center of Torre del Mar with a mega supermarket, modern hospital, etc. But perhaps you would rather just stay at home at your Villa: Even then you will lack nothing.

The apparatus is provided with a warm yet contemporary touch so everyone here will feel right at home! With three bedrooms and two bathrooms there is room for up to 8 people (plus any. Two babies). So nice heated in order to WINTER!. The Airco's course you can use for cooling in summer! Around the villa are pleasant terraces (sun / shade) and also a covered outdoor kitchen with BBQ. And do not forget the wonderful private pool right next to the Villa. There are several other villas in the vicinity, the location is so convenient that you can enjoy complete privacy! So whether you're with or without a swimsuit jumps in the water: Nobody who sees it ... A considerable amount of walking and scope to the house, so your dog can also get. Children are welcome. The property is fully fenced (from March 2011, new pictures will follow!), Which of course is ideal for the purpose of children or pets. In summary: An ideal, idyllic villa in a unique location (see also Chapter 5. "Accessibility") with unforgettable views to the sea and over the hills. If you can not relax here, you nowhere ... Welcome to Comares!
NOW: INTERNET POSSIBLE IN THE VILLA!
To the rental as favorable as possible, we have our unique price lowering Self-Service System. What this means: If renting a villa is no mean feat in terms of time and effort, do you think eg on administration, e-mail exchange, contracts, Check-in and check-out guests, key handover, cleaning, washing of linen, deposit collection and monitoring, maintenance, repairs and much more! All this is time consuming and costly. A landlord can not or will not continuously present themselves and so will many tasks yet to be given away to a (paid) keyholder and / or cleaning. This will cost you (or invisible) found in the rental, especially among professional letting organization, so eventually you pay it yourself ...
We have a sophisticated, simple and effective "do it yourself" system where you do some simple (domestic) tasks you take. This makes the management and minimal intervention and this gives you and us (price) advantage! There is (almost) no administrator intervention required an expensive and this pushes the price. Thus we have a unique key transfer system allowing you to independently arrive and depart, even if it is in the middle of the night, without further intervention of an intermediary. Unique and stress free. Linen can either bring your own or order at extra cost, with you in the latter case this crops on the dry shelves behind, so no expensive administrator for this to come along. (NEW: wash is now also possible). Regarding the cleaning you have two choices: Either yourself (á € 20) or carry an additional charge of € 55. (Your CHOICE herein, you pass through in the lease that you receive from us after your booking). The cost of € 20 imply that the villa before your arrival is controlled by the keyholder and again after your departure to ensure that the house neat and clean for you and the next guests. This is basically the only intervention of the keyholder, you are further possible self-supporting and flexible, just like you used to at home!
So understand that a few simple tasks itself. The check-in and check-out lists make everything clear . Of course there is for (technical) emergency always a keyholder available (in Dutch)! Further describe the clear check-in and Check-out lists clearly how everything stays goings. This makes a carefree and economical stay possible for everyone! WELCOME!
Spending the winter in Andalusia is becoming increasingly popular, and for good reason! Andalusia is also a pleasant place to stay in winter compared to the Netherlands. The winters are very mild thanks to the Mediterranean climate.
What about the heating of the Villa during the winter months? Although Andalusia has a wonderful average daytime temperature during the winter (especially in the sun and out of the wind it is wonderful to sit on your terrace with temperatures that can even reach 30 degrees), Andalusia is not located in the tropics. Temperatures can drop especially in the evenings and although night frost is very rare, Andalusians sometimes have the misfortune of a cold or rain front floating past. Exactly when, of course, can never be predicted... But with a good reading book and a good glass of wine by the crackling fireplace, a person can also feel very happy! So there must be heating. That has been taken care of: The old Andalusians sit around a table with their legs covered by a thick tablecloth, while under the table is a kind of stove with smoldering coals. This is still happening here in the Axarquia! But we Dutch are (fortunately) very spoiled at home with our tiptop insulated houses and apartments, a natural gas pipeline to every front door and within a modern central heating system with high-efficiency boiler and radiator in every room. A thermostat that regulates everything down to half a degree. This obvious luxury is unknown in southern Spain (there are no natural gas pipelines here) and cavity walls are an unknown fact. Every experienced Spain-goer/overwinterer knows that you cannot translate our Dutch level one-on-one to the Spanish level and that it is useful to take slippers with you because of the stone floors. We have also laid down nice thick rugs for the sofas, which are comfortable for the feet!
The central heating at home is of course always better, but of course there are other alternatives here in the Spanish hills and we have ensured that there are even SEVERAL for you in the villa: The use of the fireplace as main heating is common, in addition to romantic cosiness a wonderful "real" heat and firewood is delivered to your home! A second heating option is the dual air conditioning of the latest converter generation, not everyone knows that you can also heat with this. As a third option, there is a gas heater (safe, effective and relatively inexpensive to use), very common in Spain, it is mobile so can be placed anywhere. You can get gas bottles in the village for about €16, this normally takes up to a week. As a fourth option: Oil-filled radiator heaters that work on electricity, also movable and suitable as (additional) heating. There is also a fan heater in the bathroom. And finally a cozy extra: There are fleece blankets and some thick, very comfortable living plaids which you can drape over you when you are sitting on the sofa.
Of course you can also use a combination of heating options at the same time, according to your personal needs, preference and insight. For safety and cost reduction, we recommend turning off the heating when you are outside and/or when you are away, just like the Andalusians do.
As you can see, we do everything we can within the southern Spanish possibilities to ensure that you can make yourself as comfortable as possible! We firmly believe that we can certainly stand the comparison with other similar Spanish houses because of this..! In other words, if you can't make yourself comfortable here, it won't work in other Spanish villas either, so choose your favorite heating option(s).
Welcome to sunny winter country Andalusia, in the hills of Comares, Axarquía. PS: The period in which you can use the special winter rate of €27 per night differs per year: The 1st day that this is possible is the LAST Sunday of the autumn holidays. The last day is Saturday 1 week BEFORE the start of the May holiday.
Comares has a long history and dates from the time the Moors were masters in Spain. They built all royal palaces, had drainage and a high civilization, while Northern Europe is still in the dark time Sat In the Villa you will find a booklet that describes the history of Comares on the basis of plaques that hang over the village. There is a route off to the village to learn: Just follow the "footsteps" in the pavement, and you learn to know the village in a relaxed manner. The presence of Comares has fortunately all the modern amenities of today: An ATM, supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants and more. Comares Spain welcomes you with open arms!
The Villa is accessible from Malaga airport in about an hour. The well-paved roads that meander through the beautiful heuvel-/berglandschap are fine, but obviously not flat and straight as in the Netherlands! You can, depending on your preferred choice of a scenic route through the hills / mountains or choose a route that largely on the motorway before the hills to go. We will give you obviously a very clearly written directions sent. The last 3 to 4 minutes going over a somewhat narrow and sloping downwards zand-/betonweggetje, typical of many houses in the hills of the hinterland. Technically easy to drive but (the first few times) is certainly getting used to because the flat, tight mountain roads paved Netherlands such obviously do not know, here in the beautiful Spanish countryside, however, very common. For a Dutch (after all, only used on flat straight roads) can be quite a challenge here, but only in the beginning, because you get used very quickly. Good to know, is key for this change of culture, belonging to the Spanish hills open can imagine. Again, technically good passable! The Villa (located some 550 m altitude) is also optionally via two paths to approach, so you always descend to the car, which of course is easier than climbing. So convenient and accessible for all types of car, you really do not need four wheel drive and no special license, one must only open to the rural, mountainous and simply getting used to driving and to the local situation. It is a small "price" which however has a big advantage: Arriving at the Villa you will be rewarded immediately and convincingly and the magical position clear: You get into a world of peace, nature and full freedom! The charm, the green, enchanting surroundings and panoramic views to the Mediterranean will enchant you, like the pleasant comfort and the cozy interior of the Villa! WELCOME!
Summer change 2024 and 2025 / Day change
You can arrive and depart every day of the week.
That is why the price has been increased by a few euros per night.
I've decided that if I want to arrive on a Wednesday and leave the following Wednesday, why pay from the Saturday before.
Or spend less time on holiday.
It is often difficult, it depends on the schedule of the children, the family, the dogs, etc.
You have the right to pay for the time you are actually there.
Because my way of life is:
“Do what I want done to me.”

You can come on the day that suits you best.
Prices for weekday flights can be up to 80% lower. Then on the weekend.
You use that money for a nice dinner and even a day's stay.
So hurry, then you fly
cheaper.
See you in the summer in Spain!
It is advantageous to pre book your car via the Internet: You will get the best prices! However, this requires a credit card is required. The car is at the airport immediately available to you on the last day and who also supplies you again. Very convenient! Please visit our website at www.AndaluciaCasa.nl "left" div. advantageous addresses.
Cordoba, ever, 1000 years ago, Europe's largest city and capital of the Moorish empire. A tolerant melting pot seems to have been Muslims, Jews and Christians. Shattered and destroyed by fundamentalist Muslims, barbaric Berbers who tolerated no interpretations of scripture. Later conquered by the Christians in 1236. Emperor Charles V built in the middle of the huge cathedral mosque with a golden altar. This is a strange and bizarre structure arise, half mosque, half church. But very especially concerns and terribly beautiful, almost stranger than the Sagrada Familia cathedral by Gaudi in Barcelona. And that is the Mezquita the highlight of a visit to Cordoba. From the Villa you drive up to it in about two hours. If you get up early so as to carry out day-excursion. Or stay a night's sleep, (for there is much more beautiful things to see in Cordoba!) Example in the most beautiful hotel in Cordoba: Hotel Conquistador, overlooking the Mezquita (www.HotelConquistadorCordoba.com)
Granada is a beautiful city located just 1.5 hours drive from the Villa. It was a very important city during the Muslim domination and also the last stronghold on the Iberian Peninsula from the Moors: Only in 1492 was the "Reconquista", the herve conquest complete and Granada was taken over by the Catholic Monarchs Isabel and Ferdinand. Granada is full of historic buildings and is well worth visiting. The highlight is comprised of the Alhambra and the Generalife, whose historical and artistic value has been recognized by UNESCO with its placement on the World Heritage List. The most glorious Islamic kings like Yoessoef the first and Muhammad V, according to the chronicles of the time just and wise monarchs, have led to the resurrection of the magnificent palaces and pleasure-Alhambra and Generalife. Famous landmarks include the patio of Los Arrayanes with next to the tower of Comares, the Palace of the Lions with the beautiful Patio de los Leones, the Generalife with its beautiful gardens that served as a shady garden of delight during the hottest months and the palace of Charlemagne V. It is wise to order tickets in advance to make sure that you enter, eg www.AlhambraTickets.com. Granada is certainly feasible as a day trip and really a must and must for culture lovers!
Nerja is a seaside resort beloved by many and is approximately three quarters of the Villa. The viewpoint cum beach promenade "El Balcon de Europa" is a wonderful place to grab a terrace. From the beach next to it are found in almost every guide an image. But Nerja also has many more beautiful beaches! There is also a major attraction: The famous caves which attract many visitors. Nerja also has many restaurants and bars, this former fishing village is fortunately spared the unsightly high-rise that one often finds elsewhere on the coast. Right next to Nerja to Maro, is also a fine aqueduct to visit. It looks like a Roman building but is in reality just after 1800 built a sugar water. Nevertheless, nice to see!
Just an hour's drive from the famous El Torcal Natural Park with its unusual and beautiful rock formations. Caused by moving plates and nature millions of years of erosion. A dammed prehistoric seabed, with all sorts of special shapes, some rare species of eagle and if you are good looking and looks spot you definitely rock some goats ... There are two hiking trails, one short and one long, fairly easy walk. Definitely worth a visit!
The smallest park of Andalucia, beautiful woodland and "lungs" of the city of Malaga. Only half an hour from the Villa you will find the central car park to catch some sun while walking the pine scent to sniff. There are several marked trails, easy to walk, also partly in the cool shade of the trees, so even in high summer to do! Tip: Row after walking for a bit down towards Malaga and take the exit for "Hotel Humaina" ( a paved winding road of a few kilometers). Drink as a refreshing drink on the outdoor terrace, surrounded by nature, nature and more nature ...
While you of course your own private pool you might want to sometimes go to the beach. That is of course no problem! The nearest beach is at Torre del Mar (approx. 35 min), but many are also attracted to the beaches at Nerja. Also in between his lovely quiet beaches. There are also nude beaches for lovers. So do not hesitate to go out and find your favorite beach!
CAMINITO DEL REY, Alora.

It is in this environment where, since the 19th and 20th centuries, a set of railway and hydroelectric infrastructures were located that formed the backbone of the connections and the road network that we have inherited in the 21st century..
Declared by the Junta de Andalucía as a Natural Area in 1989, it had already been classified as a Special Protection Area for Birds (ZEPA) in 1987 and, since 2006, it is part of the Andalusia-Morocco Intercontinental Biosphere Reserve of the Mediterranean. and from the list of Places of Community Importance of the Mediterranean Biogeographic Region.
This natural enclave has been a focus of influence for the settlement and development of human groups in the surroundings of the natural area of ??Gaitanejo and El Chorro from prehistoric times to the present day, documented by the abundance of archaeological sites.
