Farm Stay in Andalucia

La Balsa is located at an altitude of 1200 meters in a beautiful hiking area at the foot of the Sierra Nevada. Here you can still enjoy peace and absolute silence and clean air in a beautiful mountain landscape far away from mass tourism. The farm is within walking distance of two authentic Spanish villages with a large public swimming pool, a supermarket and several bars and restaurants . From our farm you can walk, cycle or horseback ride into the Sierra Nevada and with our walking book you can take the most beautiful walks.

Rooms
On the first floor there are 5 rooms , two of which are en suite, all with private entrance and terrace. These give place to between 13 and 16 guests. The three large rooms have a sink with hot and cold water. The showers and toilets for all rooms are located on the ground floor and are accessible via an outside staircase . The rooms include linen and the use of the large fully equipped shared (living) kitchen on the ground floor .

Kitchen and movie room
In front of this communal kitchen is a spacious terrace (100m2) with a large barbecue and overlooking our olive grove and the peaks of the Sierra Nevada. In addition to the normal kitchen equipment, the kitchen diner has a wood stove, a sitting area and a sound system. Sufficient space is available both inside and outside for cultural and creative activities . The cinema, measuring 8 by 10 meters and 5 meters high, has a sound system, a beamer and a large projection screen. Movies are regularly shown here in the summer.

To eat
There are a few restaurants in the area and in our province the tapas are still free. Until 11 o'clock in the evening you will be served a tapa with every alcoholic drink, except between 2 and 5 pm because this is the Spanish dinner time. A few drinks can replace your evening meal.

The rooms
There are 3 large and 2 smaller rooms.

• Room 1 is 20 m2 and has a terrace, a sink with hot and cold water, a double bed plus a single bed, a desk and a wardrobe.
• Room 2 is 10 m2 with a terrace, a single bed with table and chairs, a cupboard and mirror.
• Room 3 is 10 m2 with a bunk bed and cupboard and chairs
• Room 4 is 20 m2 with a double bed and has a terrace and sink with hot and cold water, a wardrobe and table with chairs.
• Room 5 consists of two rooms of approximately 20 m2 each. In both rooms there are 2 single beds, so a total of 4 people. There is a terrace, sink with hot and cold water, tables and chairs and wardrobe.

Prices
The small rooms are 15 euros pn for one person and 5 euros for each person extra.
The larger rooms with sink are 20 euros for one person and 5 euros for each person extra.
Cleaning fee for all rooms is 15 euros per stay.

Showers and toilets
The two showers and toilets are located on the ground floor and can be reached via an outside staircase .
