Apartment Sierra Nevada

La Balsa is located at an altitude of 1200 meters in a beautiful hiking area at the foot of the Sierra Nevada in Andalusia, within walking distance of the villages of Lanteira and Alquife, where there is a large public swimming pool, a supermarket and several bars and restaurants .

Apartment On the ground floor we have an apartment , consisting of a bedroom with a double bed, an extra bed in the living room, a private bathroom with toilet and shower, an open kitchen and a wood stove.

Rooms
On the first floor there are 5 rooms , two of which are en-suite, all with their own entrance and terrace. The three large rooms have a sink with hot and cold water, but the showers and toilets for all rooms are on the ground floor. and are accessible via an outside staircase . The rooms include linen and the use of the large fully equipped shared (living) kitchen on the ground floor . In addition to the normal kitchen equipment, the kitchen has a wood stove, a sitting area and a sound system.Price rooms from 10 euros pppn Cleaning costs 15 euros per stay.

Kitchen and cinema The communal kitchen for the upstairs rooms is located on the ground floor. In front of this kitchen diner is a spacious terrace (100m2) with a large barbeque and overlooking our olive grove and the peaks of the Sierra Nevada. In addition to the normal kitchen equipment, the kitchen diner has a wood stove, a sitting area and a sound system. Sufficient space is available both indoors and outdoors for cultural and creative activities. The large hall of 8 by 10 meters and 5 meters high has a sound system, a beamer and a large projection screen. Movies are regularly shown here.

To eat
In Alquife and Lanteira there are a few restaurants and in our province the tapas are still free. Until 11 o'clock in the evening you will be served a tapa with every alcoholic drink, except between 2 and 5 pm because this is the Spanish dinner time. A few drinks can replace your evening meal. We can sometimes provide breakfast and/or a main meal in consultation, but you can also choose to cook and eat yourself or together with the other guests.
