With a nice glass of African wine, you can enjoy the visit of zebras, giraffes and/or other animals. In the evening you can enjoy the African sounds and the romantic atmosphere in our boma.
House Khumbula 1 offers on the ground floor a cozy kitchen with its own thatched roof, equipped with a granite dining table with bar stools. There is also a seating area with sofa in African style available. In the fully equipped kitchen you will find everything you need (toaster, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, etc..).
The master bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed, spacious wardrobe, dressing table and air conditioning. The bedroom gives access to a private bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. A 2nd bedroom on the ground floor also has a double bed, spacious wardrobe and air conditioning. The separate bathroom is accessible to everyone and has a shower, sink and toilet. On the top floor - open gallery - there are two single beds with wardrobes and on the other side is a cozy TV corner with a double sofa bed. There are several fans on the upper floors, which provide cooling on hot days.
Of course all beds are made and the bed linen is changed every 2 to 3 days. Bath and kitchen towels are also provided and are changed regularly.
There are several seating areas on the spacious ground floor terrace. The swimming pool (large hip pool) gives you the opportunity to cool off on hot days. In the garden is a grill area with a view of the parkland.
Marlot Park:
is located on the southern edge of the Kruger Park, separated by the Crocodile River. There are no fences here and the animals can move freely between the houses. If you are lucky, the zebra, giraffe and/or kudus will visit you during your stay in one of our cozy homes.
It is approx. 420 km from the airport of refuge (JNB) in Johannesburg and approx. 100 km from the airport of refuge (MQP) in Nelspruit.
