This green landscape also provides lovely opportunities for walking and cycling, with horse riding being another popular activity. A holiday home in Ribatejo is a great starting point for exploring the region. The authentic villages and cities nearby are worth a visit - every single one of them. If you use Micazu to book a holiday home in Ribatejo, you’ll be in direct contact with the owner, who will be able to tell you exactly how to make the most of your say in this lovely region.

Tomar is the main city in the Ribatejo region and also the most interesting. Admire the ancient buildings and, in particular, the splendid castle and the mysterious Templar monastery, the Convento de Cristo. From your holiday home, you’ll also be able to take other great trips to local cities, such as Coimbra, and the bustling resorts on the Costa de Prata. Wherever you are in Ribatejo, the beach is never far away. For a different swimming experience, immerse yourself in the splendid reservoir at Castelo do Bode.
