Casa da Colina is a stylish, detached and luxurious holiday home that overlooks its own yard; a 6000 m2 sloping landscape with olive, apple and fig trees. It is suitable for four people, has a lovely private pool and fantastic views. There is a large terrace with a spacious outdoor room with BBQ where you can watch the sunset every evening.
The location is very peaceful, quiet and private, but not isolated. It is located 1 km outside the village of Junceira, where there is a supermarket and a gas station, bar and restaurant, where you can eat delicious and authentic Portuguese.
The larger and beautiful town of Tomar, with one of the greatest monuments in Portugal, the Convento do Christo, is 8 km away. Here are most amenities such as a cinema, restaurants, cafes with cozy terraces, large supermarkets and a weekly market. At 5 km is the large reservoir Castelo do Bode, with beautiful clear water in which you can swim.
The hilly area with a varied landscape of vineyards, forests and small villages is fantastic for walking (detailed hiking maps are available).
The sea is an hour's drive away and the highest mountain in Portugal is located in the Serra da Estrela and is a good 2 hour drive. Lisbon is 1.5 hours drive from Junceira.
The farm is very suitable for those seeking tranquility, it is wonderfully quiet.
