Vale da Palha (Straw Valley) is located in the Portuguese countryside, surrounded by fruit groves and just 10 km from the beach. Pick yourself some fruit from the garden and enjoy the tranquility after a day of beach or city. In the garden you will find, depending on the season, apples, plums, figs, oranges, lemons and herbs.
The cottage is the perfect base to nearby coastal cities such as São Martinho de Porto and Nazaré, or historical cities such as Alcobaça, Coimbra, Obidos and of course Lisbon.
Besides the Cabana there are two other holiday homes and a building which is open to all. This building contains a fireplace, games, and books. A perfect place to catch up on the discoveries of the day or just relax.
The cottage / the 'Cabana' is equipped with all comforts and a stock of books and DVDs for the evenings.
Upon arrival, bath and kitchen linnens are provided and the beds are made.
