Authentic apartment on Quinta

The apartment is part of a former granite cowshed annex hayloft. Upstairs is the spacious bedroom with its own entrance. The rest of the upper floor is part of another accommodation. An indoor staircase leads to the hall downstairs with access to the bathroom and the living room with open kitchen. The downstairs area also has two private entrances from the outside. Downstairs in front of the living room is the terrace. Here you can enjoy the beautiful view over the valley with vineyards. In the distance, the Serra da Estrela is clearly visible. In winter or on cool days there is the possibility to turn on the wood stove. You can enjoy a meal on the terrace under the balcony. Sometimes the only sound one hears is the chirping of birds and some dogs barking. Within walking distance are two village cafes where you can use something and buy some basic foodstuffs. There is also a restaurante-pizzeria where you can eat well. As a day trip, Coimbra, Aveiro and Porto are highly recommended.
