Near the cozy village of Voorthuizen, the Veluwe forests and heath areas and just outside the quiet chalet park 'De Huifkar' is our fine, somewhat private location and artistically furnished 'CHALET PALET' .

The location is ideal for peace seekers, walking and cycling enthusiasts (with or without dogs), but also for artists who want to find inspiration in nature and / or want to work quietly. Enjoy your holiday or weekend away in a personal atmosphere ! The chalet is 52 m2, has 2 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 4 people . It is located on a plot of over 200 m2 and has various seating options on the terrace with a lovely enclosed south-facing garden . There is a log cabin with power and lock available in which your possibly. can bring your own (electric) bicycles.

We, Fonny & Przemek, also want others to enjoy our recreation chalet and lovely green spot on the edge of the Veluwe. Fonny has been a painter for years and enjoys exhibiting some of her animal paintings on old wood. There are also works of art by div. other artists. Feel the warmth and personality in our colorful chalet! Our motto is: 'Move through life, like a real artist of life'

Explanation of prices

Good to know:

Chalet Palet can be booked for a minimum of 3 nights.
In the months of July, August and September only rental possible from one week.

Price including:

Bed linen, bed linen, shower linen & kitchen linen (if you stay longer than a week, then there is a weekly change of all linen)

Energy costs

Price excluding:

Final cleaning costs: 35,-
Tourist tax € 0.93 pppn
Deposit € 100 (you will receive the deposit back within a week after the departure date, provided everything is present, undamaged, left tidy and not smoked inside)

Payment & Conditions

After you have received a confirmation by e-mail, we ask you to pay a deposit of 25% of the total rent within 8 days. Only then is your reservation final. The remaining 75% must be paid 4 weeks before the start of your holiday.

For (last minute) bookings less than four weeks before the start, the entire amount must be paid immediately.

In the unlikely event that you have to cancel, the following rules apply:

Up to 4 weeks before arrival date we will refund 75% of the total rent.
Up to 2 weeks before arrival date we will refund 50% of the total rent.
After that, no refunds will be made.
