Oasis of greenery
Brand new Lodge in an oasis of tranquility overlooking the meadows of the polder Nijenrode in Breukelen. With a bit of luck you will see a deer early in the morning or at dusk at some distance from the Lodge. This beautiful green location in the middle of the Vecht region, with Utrecht, Amsterdam and the Loosdrecht Lakes around the corner, is ideal for enjoying nature, walking, cycling, boating, water sports, culture and eating out.

Inside
The Lodge (approx. 25m2) offers space for ² people (in consultation 1 person/1-2 children extra), has a Scandinavian interior using as many natural and sustainable materials as possible. The Lodge consists of a living room with a comfortable sofa, dining area, smart TV and a complete kitchen (induction hob, extractor hood, oven, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, kitchen utensils, crockery and glassware) and has WiFi. In addition, a bathroom with a spacious shower cubicle, washbasin and toilet, and a bedroom with a double box-spring bed. The beds are made, bath towels and kitchen linen are provided.

Terrace
At the head of the Lodge is a veranda, where you can sit until the late evening sun. Over the entire length of the Lodge there is a decking terrace (approx. 8 x 2.5 m). Garden furniture is available as well as a parking space for the car (possibility to charge an electric car) and a shed for bicycles.

Sun, shade and privacy
However, the detached Lodge is completely separate from our house, your privacy is guaranteed. The garden offers both sun and shade through trees, and an unobstructed view of the surrounding meadows.

Location
Breukelen village 10 minutes by bike and 30 minutes walking. To the east and south neighbors about 600 meters away. North Nijenrode estate at about 600 meters, where Nyenrode University is located. Sometimes you see the farmer walking through the land eg to pick up the cows. Sometimes you can hear students singing and playing the carillon of Nijenrode Castle. Basically it is quiet with pleasant ambient sounds.

Allergy Friendly
We pay extra attention to guests who cannot always go on holiday easily and unprepared due to allergies. The Lodge is suitable for guests with allergies (to pets, dust mites, down and wool). Pets and smoking are therefore not allowed in and outside the Lodge. All bedding is washed at 60 degrees.

Gluten and/or cow's milk (lactose) free
Specially and exclusively for guests who have to follow a gluten-free and/or (cow) milk/lactose-free diet, we provide a welcome package with tasty sandwiches, croissant and a cake on arrival (all knowledge available, owner is experienced expert). So that you can enjoy safe and carefree both externally and internally.

Children
If you would like to come with your little one, please bring your own bed. A high chair is available, as well as children's crockery. There is 1 bedroom, which means that the cot is in the living room. Children who can walk but cannot swim yet should be careful. The Lodge is surrounded by water, usually ditches that are not deep, but dangerous for young children.

3rd and possibly 4th person extra
There is a small loft under the sloping roof for 1 adult or an extra 1-2 children, provided they can safely and independently go up and back via the stairs. This loft is a cozy 'children's lounge.

Clean and sustainable
The Lodge is very clean and carefully furnished with beautiful and sustainable materials as much as possible. We ask you to handle our belongings with care and not to wear shoes indoors or clean shoes for indoor use only. Thank you very much for taking this into account.

Heating and cooling
If it is too cool outside, you can enjoy the warmth inside, with the central heating system, the Lodge is also pleasantly warm in winter. The Lodge's bedroom is under the trees, which keeps it fairly cool. At high temperatures we provide fans.

Accessibility
The Lodge is easily accessible by car, the last part is a 600 meter unpaved path that is safe to drive even in winter. For public transport you travel by train to Breukelen train station. From there a walk of half an hour. Or take the bus from the NS station to the bridge exit in Breukelen, then walk another 15 minutes. In consultation we take care of luggage transport from the station and you will arrive at your holiday address relaxed walking/cycling. The address is not always correctly displayed on route planners, after booking you will receive information about the exact location.
