The Merel

The De Merel mobile home is in place 151 on the new field of camping Buitenplaats de Kolonist (the Bosrand) in the hamlet of De Pol in the top of Overijssel. Our caravan is located 50 meters from the forest (Heideveld) in the hilly Steenwijkerland, a short distance from Steenwijk, Giethoorn and the Weerribben National Park.
Also a short distance from Friesland and Drenthe.
From the caravan you can immediately enter the vast forest where there are plenty of walking, cycling and mountain bike trails.
There is still much to discover in the area in terms of nature, landscapes and country estates.

Our caravan is on a fenced site with its own parking space.
It is equipped with a large living room with round seat 6-7 p and dining table 4 p, smart TV (ziggo package), WiFi (can be closed at the campsite), Nespresso with milk foam machine, kettle, air conditioner. The kitchen contains a 4-burner gas stove/electric oven, microwave/oven, fridge-freezer, slow cooker, airfryer, cutlery, plates/cups and cooking pans.
The bathroom contains a shower with thermostatic tap, sink (new) toilet (new).
The large bedroom has a closet with desk and a new double bed with an excellent mattress.
Children's room with 2 single beds and possibly a baby/toddler bed (camping bed) and toys DvD-TV
Outside a raised terrace (composite) with large table, 4x luxury camping chair, outdoor kitchen (bbq) picnic table for the children, shed and toys (children's bicycles and tricycle) Pets are allowed a maximum of two and no heavier than 5 kg. ) and they are not allowed on the beds/sofas etc.
At the campsite: restaurant, cozy terrace, snack bar, playground, swimming pool and paddling pool and in high season many activities for young and old.
