Holiday home 'De Bonte Specht' is an attractive holiday home for guests who enjoy walking and cycling in beautiful surroundings.
There is a colorful, large and sheltered garden surrounding the holiday home! The house is suitable for 1 to 4 people and includes a private parking space for the car. An extension of the garden house is a private sauna to relax in, and the front of the garden house also has a terrace where you can relax under the trees or a parasol! The house has a spacious living room with French doors to the terrace, for example for breakfast with a cup of coffee, newspaper and/or in the evening in the sun with a glass of wine.
The garden is also lined with conifers, ensuring privacy. There is a free form pond in the garden. The area is green, there is also the sound of birds, sometimes a squirrel roams in the garden and at night the occasional hedgehog looks for food.
The house has an equipped kitchen.
There are two bedrooms with double beds, dimensions (160 x 200) and (140 x 200). The room where the beds are 140 x 200 cm can be made into two separate beds.
A washing machine and dryer are also available.
There are DVDs, books, games, magazines, etc. available in the house. There is plenty of bed linen, as well as bath towels, kitchen towels and towels for the sauna.
Bungalow park "De Holterweide" is located on the south side of the Holterberg and on the north side of the nature reserve "De Borkeld", about 3 km from the center of Holten and 5 km from Rijssen.
The houses of "De Holterweide" are spread throughout the park. Holten is a holiday destination with plenty of nature, such as the Sallandse Heuvelrug with the Holterberg and heathlands and extensive forests. The area is ideal for beautiful walking and cycling trips. Bicycles can be rented, these will be delivered to the house and picked up again by Bike Totaal Bloemendal (Rijssen/Holten), bringing your own bicycles is an option.
Picturesque villages such as Delden and Zutphen are nice places to visit. In Diepenheim and Delden, for example, you can visit castles and complete gardens.
Deventer is a city full of culture. One of the five oldest cities in the Netherlands. The city has the oldest stone house, the oldest walking park and, with the Athenaeum library, also the oldest scientific library in the Netherlands.
Enschede has a large market in the center on Saturdays. Almelo, Hengelo, Zwolle and Apeldoorn are other major cities in the area.
