Holiday home on a cozy farm

On our cozy farm Huize Blokland we have built a number of beautiful holiday homes in the old cheese factory. Adjacent to our standard fruit orchard, you can enjoy the view of the trees that are almost two centuries old and the scurrying animals, including chickens, sheep and horses. Located in the West Frisian countryside, 3 km from the IJsselmeer and 10 km from Enkhuizen, Hoorn and Medemblik.

Beautiful spacious house ideal for couples or small families on a cozy farm. We have horses, sheep, chickens and cats that all love to be cuddled.

Beautiful spacious house with one large room (studio / loft). There is a lot of glass so you can enjoy the wide view. There is a spacious kitchen with a large dining table, a large sitting area with two sofas (one of which is a sofa bed of 180x140) and a double bed of 200x180. A possibly 5th person can sleep on the three-seater or, if it concerns a small child, in a cot. The bathroom has a toilet, sink and rain shower. Outside is a picnic table with afternoon and evening sun and a view of the ancient orchard where the horses walk and in the summer small fires are sometimes lit and occasionally some tents or campers are set up.

The entire house has underfloor heating, which makes it (especially in winter) always nice and warm.

A delicious breakfast with fresh homemade and regional products is optional for an additional fee of €17.50 pp per day.

Pets are welcome for 10 euros per animal per day.
