Explanation of prices

Prices include tourist tax, bed, bath and kitchen linen. Coffee and tea are free. The 20% deposit must be transferred no later than 5 days after booking. You will transfer the remaining costs of your stay at least 6 days before arrival .
If desired, we provide a delicious breakfast for € 7.50 per person per day.

Depending on the occasion, you can sit or lay down on several patios in front or behind the house.
The house is surrounded by lush greenery, suitable for both two legged and 4 legged creatures.
The diner table is big enough for 6 and so is what you need for a good diner. Cups, plates, glasses in old fashion style are for every day use in the large wooden cabinet, full of interesting table ware.
Cozy lights are a specialty of a Dutch household. The lights can be lowered and are suitable for reading as well as ambience accents. Heating is central but can be enhanced by our pellet stove.
Master bedroom Extra pillows and an extra winter comforter is available for colder nights.
The second bedroom, for the kids, or for an another couple. The beds are two singles but can easily be turned into a double bed.
The kitchen is well equipped and pleasant. Electric cooking, air fryer, micro-wave, various forms of coffee making, mixer, blender. It's all there!
Bathroom is small indeed but suffices. The shower works fine. To be truthful, it is still on our list of desired renovations. But it is perfectly functional as is.
One of the little outside terraces, suitable for breakfast, among others.
If you want to withdraw from the party, you can take a book and sit down in more isolation.
And then there are a number of smaller sheds, turned into a little studio and what we call our Ibiza Pergola, where you can sit outside, even when the weather is not cooperating.
Yes this is me, Antoinetta Vogels when we first finished the Ibiza Pergola. Perfect to hang out with a book, a cigarette, because you can smoke here if you choose to do that, meditate or have a good conversation. Even a lighthearted one wouldn't be out of place.
This picture gives you a clear idea of the immediate environment of the house.
This little fence is more symbolic then used as an entrance. We mostly enter the house with shoppings and such, coming form the carport where we park our car and protect it of the signs and symptoms of the presence of the many birds and squirrels.
The studio is an isolated workplace, where the internet is still active. You can find it in one of the little sheds.

Access to the heated pool of Parc de Kievit is for free and at 5 minutes walking distance of the house. Of course instead of walking you can also take one of the bicycles that are waiting for you in one of the sheds.

A very attractive living room.
The living room has a Spanish tiled floor with underfloor heating. There is also a large (sofa) couch and a pellet stove (free pellets!).
A spacious bedroom with a bathroom 'en suite' and walls of clay plaster. In it a wonderful box-spring with the very large sizes of 210 x 180.
The bedroom was originally a stable. It contains the authentic beam that we painted in a flashy orange.
The bedroom opens into the kitchen through the connecting door. In addition to the bathroom, there is access to a separate toilet in the hall. The other room serves as storage space for your belongings (suitcases, etc.). There is also a washing machine available there.
From the terrace you can enjoy in peace. The large parasol is sometimes necessary, because the terrace faces south. Even in the winter so a nice sun in the living room.
A very large garden of 500 m2 with mature trees is what you overlook. In the back is the old pear tree with the owl box.
Almost Zen........ a wonderful rippling water that seeps over the old millstones.
A beautiful wardrobe that is painted in chalk paint.
The bathroom has a Mediterranean atmosphere. A sink made from an old pine table that contains a Mexican sink. Underfloor heating everywhere under the beautiful Spanish tiles. Wall tiles with extra details and .........
a back wall of Italian cypresses painted by hand. The shower fittings come from England again. A beautiful whole.

In the living room there are 2 comfortable armchairs. Turn around and you look straight into the garden.

Our daughter painted the kitchen unit beautifully with the owls theme.

To add more to biodiversity and hopefully also to allow more insects to pollinate the orchard, we have installed a 50 m2 green roof made of sedum mats. The many added rock plants will give a beautiful flowering effect.
We also placed sedum around the solar panels on the other roof (above the living room). Good for insulation in summer and winter, for promoting biodiversity and for cooling solar panels in summer for a higher return.
A very spacious and complete kitchen including a dishwasher, oven, drawer fridge, freezer, microwave, espresso coffee machine and induction hob.
This radiator runs along with the underfloor heating. It is a very old cast iron radiator from a mansion in Antwerp.
You can also use a separate seat next to the terrace. In the morning a breakfast with the sun there. And if the wind blows too hard, you are still sheltered.
An extra garden is available to you ....... the orchard with different types of fruit trees.
An electric barbecue is at your disposal.

This is the proud owner of the garden ........ a little owl. There are actually 2 and so far have a nest of 3 or 4 young owls every year. The coffin is managed by Brabants Landschap and every month in May the coffin is cleaned and the youngsters ringed.
While ringing you may occasionally hold 1. The photos are sent to us by the volunteer. What a beautiful bird!
In the bedroom a short impression of 3 photos with the little owl. These photos were taken by a professional nature photographer who has been in many magazines with various reports. So beautiful!
In the bedroom a nostalgic sidetable with a special lamp made by a friend on which a wooden gnome ('woodcarving').
With this photo you can see the strikingly painted beam that has now become more of an ornament.
Moroccan lights on the night tables. Colorful and atmospheric.
In both the bedroom and the bathroom, the pivot windows work with accessories via a remote control.
A washing machine is at your disposal.
Also in the toilet a Mexican sink placed on a sink made from a pine table. Even the table leg is used. The toilet itself is 'rimless' which means better hygiene.
A storage space for 6 rolls of toilet paper is incorporated in the conversion. Handy and hygienic.
