At the Diepje 4-p. safari tent

Welcome to Aan het Diepje, a mini-campsite with 3 luxuriously furnished safari tents in a wonderful location in the Groninger Westerkwartier. In the middle of the meadows with sheep, cows and ponies, located on a country road, you can fully enjoy the green here. The egret steps stately along the water's edge in search of food. A deer darts past and a falcon searches the sky for prey. The wide view always attracts attention and the sunset is spectacular. In this idyllic location, close to the pleasant city of Groningen and on the border with Drenthe and Friesland, you will find our three attractively furnished safari tents that are fully equipped. The cosiness of camping is combined with the luxury you desire in your holiday.

At our mini-campsite we offer you:

- fresh eggs from our chickens, to be collected yourself

There is a lot to do in the vicinity of our mini-campsite.
Peace seekers, nature lovers, cyclists, hikers, lovers of cities, families with children, there is plenty to do for everyone. You can cycle and walk to your heart's content directly from the campsite. The Nienoord route starts on the cycle path next to the campsite and the city of Groningen is easily accessible by bicycle. There are beautiful nature trips on foot. Water sports enthusiasts can start a canoe trip right in front of the door on the Lettelberterdiep. The Leekstermeer and nature reserve De Onlanden are easily accessible by water and the Lettelberterdiep is also excellent bathing water. For bird watchers, many waterfowl can be found in the adjacent mountain basin. The Lettelberterpetten nature reserve with a birdwatching hut is also a nice place to enjoy birds.

Children can indulge themselves in and around the tent. There is a chest of outdoor toys, but craft supplies can be borrowed. Because our campsite is actually located on the border of three provinces, day trips to Drenthe and Friesland are doable. The Wadden island of Schiermonnikoog is also within easy reach.
