Relax in this forest hut with vintage vibes, in the middle of the Veluwe. You walk out of the street, straight into the forest.

This nice blue chalet (forest hut Annie for intimates, named after my grandmother) is located on the edge of a small-scale chalet and bungalow park near Putten. Annie is located just outside the barriers. That means few neighbors, no barrier, but space and privacy. And a very nice, relaxed atmosphere.

A welcome book with tips is ready for you. Get ready to enjoy outdoor living! Sleep in, wake up in the sun with coffee, wander for hours on the Veluwe, eat out and roast marshmallows over a fire in the garden in the evening.

My name is Carlijn Assink and I bought and refurbished this chalet in the spring of 2021. I live in Utrecht myself, and I often travel with my old Volkswagen bus. I work as a journalist, reporter and editor. I write a lot of human interest, travel and background stories and work for TV. This house is my own place to relax, and others can enjoy it when I'm not there!

Explanation of prices

If the tenant cancels the agreement in the period up to 3 weeks before the start date of the rental period, he will still owe 20% of the rental price; in case of cancellation up to 2 weeks 50% and from 1 week until the start date of the rental period 75%.
If the tenant only announces on the start date or during the rental period that he or she will no longer use the rented property, he will still owe the full rental price.

Radio Kootwijk “Hello Bandoeng, here The Hague”. The monumental radio station Radio Kootwijk is about twenty kilometers away by bike (or walking). Definitely worth a visit, because it is an impressive building in the middle of the Veluwe. Suddenly the trees make way for a large open area of heathland and sand drifts: the Kootwijkerzand. The transmitter station was built in the 1920s for radio-telegraphic contact with the then Dutch East Indies Kruller Muller (and the white bicycles). A little further away is the well-known Kröller-Müller museum, about 25 kilometers away. This place needs little explanation, but still nice to mention. The Dutch National Museum of Contemporary Art is named after Helene Kröller-Müller, one of the first women in Europe to collect a large art collection. You can read more about her in the book Women that matter in the closet. Cities Do you want to go to a larger city? You can easily reach Amersfoort, Apeldoorn or Utrecht by train (just outside Putten) or by car. Putten is a 20-minute drive from Amersfoort, half an hour from Utrecht and Apeldoorn and 45 minutes from Amsterdam.
