Our holiday home is centrally located in the Achterhoek. Ideal from there to discover this beautiful region on all sides
Our blooming herb garden is a feast for the insects. But we also hope that our guests enjoy it. There is a variety of herbs, including chives, sage, thyme, rosemary, bay leaf, fennel, maggi, mint, tarragon, lemon verbena, garlic chives and oregano. Free to use.
Around the house we vary as much as possible with plants and flowers. Every moment something else blooms.
The spacious living and dining room is attractively furnished. Be pleasantly surprised. An excellent Bose sound system is available: play our DVD/CDs or bring your own.
The kitchen is fully equipped: hob, extractor hood, oven/microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. Furthermore, of course, the necessary pots and pans. We have decorated the kitchen the way we like it ourselves. There is of course always the alternative of eating out in Zelhem or somewhere else.
Unwind in this pleasant living room. There are two extra chairs for the dining area if desired.
The downstairs bedroom is directly adjacent to the bathroom. There are patio doors to the outside with separate terrace. Who wouldn't want to wake up with a view of greenery, right from your bed. An Auping bed at senior height that is not only comfortable, but also easily (manually) adjustable.
Also from the bedroom upstairs a nice view over the green. Enjoy reading in bed? That's possible, handy Auping lights have been installed in the upstairs bedroom. And be surprised by the feeling of space due to the high ceiling!

Workplace on the first floor with a desktop with adjustable height and good WiFi there too.
There are two terraces. One is adjacent to the living room and one to the downstairs bedroom. This way you can play with sun and shade. There is now an awning on the terrace next to the bedroom (not yet in the photo). You can of course also use either lawn.
A handy shed that fits 4 bicycles and garden tools. There is space for 2 cars in the parking lot.
We like to spoil the birds and other animals with water and some food. Despite the separate feeding house for the squirrels, they also like to eat the bird food ;-)
Be surprised by what grows and blooms in our garden every week. The birds and insects also enjoy it
We invite our guests to deposit the green waste (peels, coffee grounds, eggshells) in the compost bin.
We can of course say that we think we have a nice holiday home in a beautiful environment, but even more credible is what our guests say about our house in the reviews on this site.

The natural and wonderful recreation lake (De Zandenplas) can be reached within 6 minutes on foot from our bungalow. It is very child-friendly with sandy beach and also with a defined shallow area for the small kids. In addition, in season there is a kiosk with a terrace and shower facilities.
Lots of space around the bungalow

Nice children's play house. They can play safely there because you have supervision from the terrace.
Lots of space in the forest garden. There are plenty of sun and shade spots in the large garden.
Through garden to large seating area with seats. Various chairs and umbrellas are available in the garage to place them somewhere in the spacious garden.
Path to private garage (padlocked) where you can park your car and/or bicycles.
Outdoor swimming pool in main season from Ascension Day to September
The Zandenplas is quickly accessible within walking and cycling distance. Very child-friendly and fully equipped, including play equipment, shower, water, kiosk, first aid, etc.

Feel free to call for information about the riding school. The owners also live in the park.
Next to the visitor center is a beautiful watchtower where you can climb all the way to the top. Great experience for the kids.(free to visit)

This is the rental price list of the park. Inquire with the landlord for very affordable rental bicycles with gears for your entire rental period!
Beautiful recreation center De Wiltsangh with various indoor swimming pools for young and old. Including sauna etc etc. Open all year round. Google yourself for additional photos.
Beautiful new sporty recreation center De Wiltsangh with various swimming pools for small and old and sauna, sports facilities including tennis, gymnastics, football, hockey, bicycle cross. Opened in May 2023 with unique in the Netherlands; chlorine-free water. Located directly behind DWW park, 400 meters walking distance from bungalow. So GREAT.
