There are several weekly markets nearby. The Saturday markets of Enschede and Winterswijk are very worthwhile. You can drive to these cities within 20 minutes from the Blokhut. Of course you can also just go shopping .
The Buurserzand is a beautiful and varied open heath area with various cycling and walking routes
Also 500 meters from the log cabin you will find the Vinkennest outdoor swimming pool. A fantastic day out!
Play paradise Hof van Eckberge is located 500 meters from the log cabin. a beautiful indoor and outdoor play paradise with zoo and catering.
The Mallum windmill. A historic water mill where flour is still ground and sold on Saturdays. in the nearby Muldershuis you can have a delicious dinner
Next to the Mallemse mill you will find the Kruidenhof, a beautiful garden with hundreds of herbs and a beautiful food forest.
An absolute must is the Kerkepaden cycle route. The 21 kilometer long Beltrum church path has three main routes, which can be cycled separately or in succession. You can pick up the route 3 kilometers from the Blokhut and enjoy these cycle paths through meadows and forests.

The bed linen is also of high quality, nice and fresh white.
The dining table with 3 chairs, the 4th chair is upstairs. Lovely at the garden doors that you can fold away completely in the summer.
