Tastefully and cosily furnished medieval house. Ideally located: in a quiet street, in the middle of the old Hanseatic city of Doesburg and only five kilometers from nature on the Veluwezoom. The house has a rich history. It dates from the 16th century and was originally part of a city farm.
In 2022, the building was almost completely renovated and redecorated. Authentic elements, such as the stone wall in the living room, have been exposed. A modern wine cabinet and wood stove provide comfort and atmosphere.
The garden is landscaped as a green extension of the living room. The different corners, especially the one with the sofa under the pergola, mean that you can stay there for a very long time.
Doesburg is a pleasant medieval town, with shops, restaurants and museums (including Lalique) literally around the corner. If you want more entertainment, Arnhem and Zutphen are both 15 kilometers away.
This house is a perfect base for cyclists or nature lovers. The extensive Veluwezoom forest and heathland area is five kilometers away. Wild boars, deer and deer, you can encounter them all there. And both the Achterhoek and the Veluwe are close by
