Our holiday home is a beautiful holiday destination for fishing, water and nature lovers. With 50 meters of jetty on the water rich in fish and the many cycling and walking routes around the Lauwersmeer area, the foundation for a wonderful holiday has already been laid. It is also possible to explore Dokkum and Kollum by water, for example, by renting our boat (suitable for up to 6 adults) during your stay. (beginning of April to end of September)

The house is located on a small-scale recreational park in Oudwoude. You arrive at our holiday home via a gravel country road. The house is well insulated and fully equipped. The bathroom, a spacious hot tub and 1 bedroom are also located on the ground floor. The 2 other bedrooms are on the first floor. You can park your car(s) next to the door on your own property. The spacious garden faces south and can be closed off.

The house was equipped with a new kitchen in 2024 with built-in appliances (dishwasher, refrigerator, combination microwave and induction hob). The holiday home is also equipped with a large flat-screen TV. The television has internet and cable TV. Wifi is available everywhere in the house. The washing machine is located in the utility room.

There are games, books, 3m telescopic rods and swimming equipment in the house.
The 3 sit-on-top canoes (2x adult, 1 x child) and our open boat of 5 meters can be rented separately.
The boat costs 275 euros per week including 10 liters of petrol. Do you rent the house for one day more or less? Then 25 euros will be added or deducted per day. We charge an additional deposit of 150 euros for the boat. The boat cannot be rented from October 1 to March 1. The canoes cost 35 euros per stay.

There are several attractions nearby. The Lauwersmeer area, Bos Peat Monastery, Dokkum, Wadden Fun Climbing Park, the Kruidhof, the Paradyske open-air swimming pool, the Salt Camp fishing museum, numerous museums, candle makers, Nienoord, observatory, mudflat hiking, the spit shack, etc. are definitely worth a visit.
