This beautiful stone holiday home with lots of light is located in a small-scale, quiet holiday park directly on open waterways in the heart of Friesland. Your dog is free and very welcome. Ideal for cycling, walking, fishing or for water sports enthusiasts such as sailing, renting a motor boat or SUPing.
The house itself is located in a quiet area, on the edge of the park, not directly on the waterway (25 meters as the crow flies) with a large garden with grass, a sunny and spacious terrace with lots of privacy and a sheltered location, you can relax in the spring and autumn. enjoy the first and last rays of sunshine.
On the terrace there are pots with palm trees, oleander and Spanish daisies for a Mediterranean feeling, but in Friesland :)

Ideal area for electric bicycles or walkers. Located directly at the bicycle junction. Beautiful trips to, for example, Workum, Sneek, Hindeloopen and Gaasterland.
The house is located in Gaastmeer, between Oudega and Heeg.
The park has a tourist information point and it is possible to rent a sloop, SUP or sailing boat per day. From the park you can go directly to the Frisian lakes. You can also bring your own sloop or sailboat with trailer for an additional fee. There are moorings in the park and there is a slipway in the village and a crane at the park.
You can rent an aluminum sloop with an outboard motor for 37.50 Euro. You can then get on the boat at 12 noon, for example you can sail to Oudega, about 2 hours, have lunch on the terrace and then sail back quietly. The park has a cozy restaurant, which is open during the high season and certain public holidays. There is also a second restaurant on the water within walking distance. In the village there is a camp shop/supermarket and an eel smoker where you can buy various types of freshly smoked fish.
The house is located on a quiet car-free lane, the car may be parked close to the house for loading and unloading and must then be placed back in the nearby parking lot.

At the back is a smaller terrace with half sun, half shade and a herb garden, for those who enjoy cooking there are fresh herbs.
