The house is located on the edge of the 6,100 hectare Drents Friese Wold National Park and is located on the forest edge of the park, on a quiet road characterized by a lot of privacy. Enjoy the peace and quiet of yesteryear with all the luxury of today!
The house
This spacious (smoke-free) holiday home for 5 people is modern and brightly furnished and equipped with every conceivable luxury, such as:

- Bathroom with bath with shower and sink
- Windows with mosquito screens and patio doors to the backyard with sliding screens, so no problems with mosquitoes/flies in the house
- Storage room with extra refrigerator and freezer, washing machine, drying racks and dryer
- Maximum 1 pet allowed, crate available in the storage room
- After consultation, a few bicycles in the shed are available to you free of charge, if desired
- Parking space at the house
The garden
- Spacious garden that offers a lot of privacy (1,000 m) with several borders and terraces in the sun and in the shade, a beautiful lawn that surrounds the house on 3 sides

The holiday home is located in the middle of two National Parks, namely the Drents Friese Wold and the Dwingelderveld, beautiful nature reserves with alternating forests, heathland, fens and sand drifts. Rich in cycle, horse riding and walking paths.
A short distance from the cottage house are the beautiful, authentic green villages of Diever and Dwingeloo with cozy village centers and all amenities. The Weerribben National Park with the water-rich Giethoorn with its canals, lakes and reedlands is also definitely worth a visit.
In addition to the swimming pool and playgrounds in the park, there is plenty for children to do in the area, including Hoogersmilde Experience Trail, Noorderdierenpark in Emmen, Planetron in Dwingeloo, Schaapskooi Ruinen and Dwingeloo, Museum Village Orvelte, Pony Park Slagharen, Duinen Zathe Appelscha, Traffic Park in Assen, play and ice cream farm, the Drenthe cow Ruinerwold and the prison museum in Veenhuizen.
