The appartment is part of a in 2011 fully restored farmhouse located in the countryside of the still undiscovered and unspoilt region Molise. In this region you can still find real tranquility, unspoiled nature, rolling green hills, and very friendly and hospitable people. Molise is a non-tourist area and therefore still very authentic.
The apartment has its own entrance at the back of the house of the owners, after which one enters the spacious hall. A natural stone staircase leads to the 1st floor apartment which consists of one large room that is divided by a roomdivider into a separate sleeping and living area. In the sleeping area there are two one-person beds, while in the living room a very comfortable sofa bed (1.50 br) can accommodate another 2 people. There is a spacious kitchen fully equiped and a bathroom with toilet and bidet.
Two large windows at the front overlook the large garden with nut trees, apples, pears, grapes and the olive grove. This is also the reason why the owners have opted for an open space; full of light and spacious. At the rear, one has the view of the village of Montenero di Bisaccia and with clear weather you can even see the Maiella mountains.
The apartment has a private terrace, located at the rear of the house, but guests can also make use of the garden where you can sit quietly.
The Dutch owners have restored the whole house with care and attention and are always working to perfectionize it.
The house is situated between the two villages Montenero di Bisaccia and Guglionesi, both 7 km away. Here you will find butchers, bakers, supermarkets and nice little village shops but also several restaurants where you can eat delicious Italian food. Termoli (about a 20 minutes drive) is the largest town in the immediate area where you can go for shopping. Here you will find more luxurious shops, cafes, restaurants, the railway station, the harbour and the beach. But there are also a lot of beautiful beaches in the immediate vicinity. A fifteen minute drive away you find Petacciato, a beautiful wide sandy beach. Almost all the beaches in the Molise have the blue flag which stands for clean and clear sea water.
Other places nearby that are worth visiting are Vasto, Campobasso (the capital of the Molise) and Sepino with his excavations. Within a one hour drive the rolling hills of the Molise change into some higher peaks and one stands in the middle of the unspoilt nature which is protected by the WWF.
We, Marc and Linda, been in love with Italy always, had the dream once to be able to buy a home here. Finaly this dream has been realized. After having looked for our dream house in several regions in Italy, we ended up in the Molise. An unknown, untouched, and especially non-touristic part of Italy which immediately stole our hearts. A stunningly beautiful country with lovely views, rolling hills and very friendly an hospitable people. We like to share this with you.
