Our house is a detached holiday home spread over two floors for up to 6 people. There are three bedrooms: the first bedroom has a double bed (size XL 2 times 220*90), the 2nd room has a bunk bed and the 3rd has a double bed and its own sink and shower in the room.
Furthermore, on the first floor there is a spacious hall and also a very spacious bathroom with shower, double sink, toilet and bidet.
An ideal home for a multi-generational holiday.
On the ground floor is the living room with open kitchen.
The living room includes a spacious L-shaped seating area, wood stove and TV and DVD player.
The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, gas stove and all conceivable crockery and cooking utensils and a spacious dining table with 8 chairs.
Next to the kitchen is the 2nd toilet and a cellar with the washing machine, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, etc
The entire house has air conditioning and WIFI. There are several terraces around the house with garden furniture. Two baby cots and a high chair are available.
Our house is located in an old olive grove. We have planted several other fruit trees near the house. When they are ripe you can pick the lemons, oranges, plums, figs and kumquats.
The olives are not ripe enough to be harvested until mid-October.
We prefer to do that ourselves.
Location and environment:
From our house you look out over the green mountains around Moneglia and the Mediterranean Sea. If the weather is very clear you can even see Corsica. You can walk to the center of charming Moneglia in 20 minutes via a footpath.
There you will also find the harbor and the beaches. There are many nice little shops and restaurants in the center.
There is a market on Sundays. For greater entertainment you can also go to Sestri Levante or to Portofino, a 40-minute drive away.
The interesting cities of Genoa and La Spezia are easy to reach by train and car.
Our house is located in the center of a beautiful walking area, known as Parco Nazionale delle Cinque Terre. In our house there are various books with walking and cycling routes (cycling, MTB, down hill) in the immediate vicinity.
The walking routes are very peaceful and ideal for admiring the beautiful coastline and some of the historic villages in the area. Sports activities in the immediate area include swimming, sailing, diving, golf (Rapallo, 30 minutes by car), walking, mountain biking and racing bikes.
