The apartment is located on the outskirts of the village of Valentano, high atop one of the many hills around the lake. There are two floors and from either you have a beautiful view of the lake and the green surroundings.

The kitchen on the first floor has sliding doors to the balcony. Here you can enjoy breakfast with views over the entire lake.

On the second (and top) floor is the living room. From the living room you have access to a terrace of 12 m2. Here you can, in complete privacy, relax on a sun lounger or enjoy your wine while admiring the beautiful colors of the lake at the end of the day.

The Lago di Bolsena is located in the northern tip of Lazio, bordering Tuscany and Umbria, right in the cultural heart of Italy. Many towns and villages in this area are of Etruscan origin.

Lago di Bolsena is the largest volcanic lake in Europe and is known for its unspoilt beauty and excellent (swimming) water quality. It has an area of ??114 km2 and a circumference of 44 kilometers.

The lake is located in a pristine area with no industry and is surrounded by green hills. The numerous beaches offer something for everyone, with or without facilities, busy or very quiet and secluded.

Around the lake and in the immediate vicinity you can enjoy beautiful medieval villages and towns. The influence that had the Etruscans in this region, which they called Tuscia, is still clearly visible in many places.

Cities such as Siena (120 km), Pienza (70 km), Montepulciano (80 km), Orvieto (40 km), Perugia (115 km), Assisi (125 km) and Rome (130 km) are excellent destinations for a day trip from Valentano.

For a day Rome From here you can also easily accessible by train. A return ticket costs € 11 and after 1.5 hours gets you right in the center of the city.

The Mediterranean Sea is just 40 km away. Nice visits a day at the beach or the beautiful peninsula of Monte Argentario. Or make the crossing to the beautiful Giglio with its white beaches and azure waters.
